The allergies is really the way I was thinking at 1st, and it is still a thought. I am thinking about giving her some benedryl. She is just a Heinz 57. She does have lab in her, maybe some dobie and some pit. Gonna try to get to pets mart today and see what I can find out. She is miserable. Its mainly on her nose and her belly. The only place she will lay down is on the couch ughhhhhhhhhhh. She will not lay down outside much.

Well, I finally have a Pyr Proof Pasture!!! Yay progress!
Great Pyrs are notorious escape artists, and I have been working on one of my half-acre paddocks trying to get it so they can't get out. I will eventually put the turkeys or the goats in it, haven't decided which.
Well, my three puppies have been in it for over an hour and haven't found a way out yet!
I was wondering if the electric fencing on one side of it was still on and working. They were kind enough to test it for me.
It does.
And what do you mean you've "yapped enough for the day"??? One post??? I would be having junkie fits with just one post!
Oh well, back to work, securing more Pyr Proof areas. C Ya!
I think I may have gotten a few too many eggs from Carla. I now have 52 in the brooders with 15+/- in the incubator and more pipping and zipping. I have silkies, marans, naked necks, sebrights and brabanters so far. I converted a 15 x 20 dog kennel building that was here when we bought the place into a chicken coop. It has kennel boxes along the sides. I am going to have to use 3 of them at least and may have to use the biggest one as well. What have I done. lol
You guys are making me wonder about my full 'bator... and the next batch going into it. OMG, do I have enough room? I know some won't make it... but there's 42 eggs in it now, and another 2 doz silkie eggs going into it after this batch hatches...
Guess I need to figure out how to build brooder boxes, stat. I don't think my huge tote is gonna work for more than the first batch...

git a 55 gal. black plastic barrel buy some 1/8" square wire put the wire cut the barrel in half put the wire on the bottom of the half prop it up with 2x4s the black will trap the heat and the wire on the bottom will make it so if the start to bunch up they will not get smothered.
