KT, gosh I wish you had stayed & bought some of those guineas last night. They sold for way cheap ... I think all sold for around $2 ea, some a little more, some less. I was selling newly hatched guinea chicks for $4 each earlier this year. Anyway, those will be our last young guineas. Gerald thinks we need to sell the adults so that we can use their pens for some of our newest chicken additions. We need the 2 guinea pens for a pen for our blue laced red wyandottes, and a pen for our blue copper and splash marans. Anyway, if anybody is interested in adult guineas, they are for sale. I guess I need to advertise them on craigslist. Also, we do have a few that are around 4 months old in the growout pen with some young turkeys and chickens.
Oh and as for sexing guineas, the males have a bigger helmet (thingy that sticks up on their head) and bigger red earings. Also, the females have a double syllable call and the males only have a single syllable call.
