Grace, we definitely need to talk to the Choctaws about doing a poultry show in Durant for the 4-Hers like the Creeks (and I forgot the other one). A little peer pressure never hurts.

An added bonus is the brand new KOA site on the complex for TJ's Nana and crew. They also have a great indoor arena!

Roy, sorry to read of your misfortunes. That truly sucks. I assume that, since you had them there and they weren't for sale, they were earmarked for someone. With any luck, it was someone you don't like anyway. Then at least some good can come of it.

PS: Foo-Foo coffees are meant to be creamy and light colored. All other coffees are meant to be enjoyed black like the good lord intended. Coffee creamer is from the devil and should be avoided at all costs.

Hum.....if it's not Corey's jacket.......... Grace, you had a jacket on at the
beginning of the show. It's a white zip-up light weight jacket made out of
a sweatshirt type of material. We were about the last ones out of the
building as Bill was trying to put all the NPIP paperwork back up in his
case out front of the building. Guess we can just send it back home with
Travis from Fayetteville in case it belongs to one of the local kids down at
Eufaula.

Y'all work on the Choctaws and we'll hit on the Cherokees up this way.
Points and ribbons are fine, and a check in the mail is OK, too. But, a
little "cash in hand" is a total hoot for these kids !!!! LOL TJ has about
worn the green off his "counting it again". And, Kendra has rattled off
about $600 worth of stuff she thinks her $200 will cover....LOL But,
alas,.....it's all going in savings accounts................

Pa-Pa took us out for breakfast and I think this bunch is gonna sleep
all afternoon. Sure sounds good to Na-Na.

Dandelion - Forgot to mention last night....... The kids spotted Corey's jacket
as we were leaving. We've got it and will bring it to Fayetteville.

TJ hooked the camera up to the TV this morning and we looked through all
the pictures. I've got some good close-ups of our Okies/BYC Juniors and
now will try to figure out how I got pictures posted on here once before.

Atuallyyyyyyy, I think that was my jacket!

Me, Corey, and Lizzy all had white hoodie jackets that matched (not planned). I do not remember picking mine up.... but let me check...

I was honking all the way home....musta been dusty in the sale barn...chickens? Shavings?...NAH.....LOL....lots of chickens looked like they were molting too...coulda been a lotta dander too.

Carla, Mike was still talking about the guineas this morning...I bet we end up with some....I'm thinking a trio of lavenders...How do you sex those loud, raucous, noisy so ugly they are cute, things? How funny...who woulda thought that he would get attatched to them?

I was up till 4:00 am...after posting I went out and did the hens. So I wouldn't have to water them at 7:00 am...they were all outta food. Range feeders COMPLETELY empty...not even dust or crumbs!

...In the pre-worming days they wouldn't eat a range feeder in a week...much less an afternoon. Anyway I have a double motion sensor floodlight out there and by the time I was done working, all the hens were off the roosts and following me around complaining they were hungry. Have you ever tried to herd a bunch of hungry hens, by yourself, in the dark, at 3:00 am? I got them all locked up and went to bed. Then all the crowing started. I admit the banties don't have enough brain power to toast bread, but Rex usually never crows at night...unless something is up. So I did the "granny panties, chore boot" deal and went out into the COLD and DAMP to see if there was something in or near the coop causing rooster drama. I open the door and all the hens are up.... on the floor milling around and complaining. Was I ticked!!! I told them no food till 7:00 am period!!! And if I heard one more Cock-a Doodle-Doo I was coming back out....and this time I was bringing the ax...and would Google a recipe for coco vin or however ya spell the crap. I always tell them when I lock up the coop, to "Bawk if ya need me"....so I lectured Rex on the dangers of "Crying wolf" and went back to bed. By this time it was 4:00 am....made some chocolate malt-o-meal...(we never did stop and eat) and read some and went back to bed...By this time Mike was snoring loud bad enough to suck the curtains off the walls

Now I'm thinking...poor Roy and Shawn weren't even home yet!!! Poor fellas....

So at 7:00 my alarm goes off...I drag myself outta bed to let out 50 screaming Mimis ....gotta go check on them again.... they had half their pellets cleaned out by the time I did all the checking on peeps etc....so I dumped more in there and they were still wolfing it all down when I came in....Happiness is a fat, sleek hen!!!

Thanks again for the great time....I am still reliving it...Mike too...he was cracking up all morning...It was so good to see you guys and get outta here for awhile...needed the break...us November born folk get itchy feet and need to ramble once in awhile or we get grumpy!!!
