WE are just getting home from getting hair cuts, rotating my tires, washing & vacuming my car out. Now we move on to washing the chickens (Rock & Snowflake) for the show this weekend. Can't do it tomorrow since we will have our fundraiser (chilli super & auction) for the school tomorrow. BTW I won't be on at all tomorrow except real early & late maybe.

hi guys! this morning hubby calls and says there was a hawk on the porch rail eyeing the chickens in the covered run, only the roo was sitting behind the net giving the stink eye to that hawk! that BR roo and i go round and round- but - he's knows his job! the hawk left, hopefully realized the coop and run are fort knox...

well, tried keeping the guineas in the run tonite, see, last nite about ten they started screaming, figured something was after them, so thought ok, lets keep you in the run at nite, hmmm, its covered with net- not as tight as i thought- so they got out and back to the tree that has no cover with the leaves gone, oh well-

thanks for the input on the Brahmas, they are beatiful birds- so far there has been a little chasing around, but nothing major.
