Just had our Veteran's Day Assembly...we have an Army Major that had a son killed in action in Iraq. Neat talk. He did hero stuff...our area is proud of him!!!

Did y'all know there have been pigeons decorated? Yup! A couple might have got shot as spies and deserters though...think The Longest Day Movie!! (I think that was in there....watched a few too many flicks)

Al - that was cool dude!

Henny - love ya!!!

Thanks all...services are this weekend...road trip!! Gonna take my little bro (6' 6" 300+

) some quail.

OK, sorry! That was my fault, I was just hoping to warn that the man was looking for another horse. If you want/need more info on the issue, it's located in the Other Pets/Livestock area.

Does anyone know what the persimmons are saying this year??

Stimpy's pic is the best, he looks like he would be a funny & good guy to have your back even then. I have had a bunch of my old soldiers I served with calling me all day today, just to remember and shoot the bull. I am in touch with allot of the old crew, it's kinda nice not to lose touch.

My DW & DD make me mow the lawn really short in the fall just in case it happens to snow so we can make snowman and have snowball fights and sled down the hill in our homemade Tobagan. we love the snow, but hate the ice.

Ok everybody, I JUST heard them say there's a possiblity of snow in North West OK this Sunday!!
I've been wondering about the winter too, I can't believe I'm still wearing shorts. I hope we get snow!

Al - Good to see you back! Thanks for sharing the awesome presentation you got together there. It takes a special kind of person to do what all of you have done, and what so many are still doing. I am thankful everyday that I can walk outside and not jump at the sound of a plane, or the sight of a passing vehicle.
I truely feel safe living here in our country, and I thank all of you for giving me that peace!

Henny, I looked it up to be sure. The knife means cold icy winter with bad cutting winds. The fork means a mild winter. The spoon means your going to have to need a shovel to dig out of snow.

I just hope we don't have anymore of those ice storms like the two we had a few years back.

YUK! ICE!! Mike has been begging for overtime too... the last time he did that we had a tornado blow half the town away...he worked 242 hours in 2 weeks....

ETA: I was just thinking that this falls under the heading of don't pray too hard for something... you just might get it!!!
