Good morning everyone.
The flu is finally on it way out the door. Aurora better and went home but told her Mom she was going home to Grandma if she was nice.
Meaning Mom was not doing what Aurora wanted.
Think I will be over it soon too. I HOPE
Do any of you sell on Craig list? How do you keep someone from pulling your ads.

Since Jason is up at the Hospital with DS I can do his Military Bio

Jason enlisted in the Army in 1997 as a 14R(He was on the Bradley)

Our first duty station was Fort Carson Co, There Jason served very proudly with other soldiers of 1/3 ACR ADA Btry.

He did a tour in Korea from 2001-2002

Served in Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003-2004.

And recently served 15 months in Operation Enduring Freedom 2008-2009

It had become a running joke in our household as to how the Army has handled our PCS moves...

Jason started the Army going to Boot Camp here at Fort Sill.... to where we station currently

Jason did his Original AIT schooling at Fort Bliss Texas... to where we were stationed for one year prior to coming here

Our Original first Duty Station was Fort Carson CO...There we were for nearly almost 8 years... We think because of the pattern we have here that a pcs move to Carson should be the next one.. ha ha ha

I say something about the military then the green copters are out! Teach, the black ones get after you but all I see are the green ones! Your making me paranoid!

Actually, a lot of military planes and helicopters fly thru here. I'm just glad it wasn't night with a low flying C-130 in black out again. That messes with your head.

Rodriguez - We have been here before, and will ask you again,
please DO NOT continue to trash our Cherokee County Sheriff,
Sheriff Norman Fisher. He has had occasion to arrest members
of his own family. He does NOT function on the "buddy plan".
As I recall, at one point, they were going to meet you somewhere
while you retrived your animal.

As far as the "other" family involved, we are aware of that
"tree" as well. Did you not do any investigation, or ask for
any references before releasing a valuable animal to them
on a "lease" ?

Sounds like you need to come to Cherokee County, bring your
proof, your pictures, all your information, and sit down with
the DA and file some charges. THEN, Sheriff Norman Fisher
can take some action on your complaint.

The chickens are all doing fine. We're hoping to get to go
to Muskogee tomorrow evening and watch Madison in her
4-H Show. Hope that's quota on "chickens".......

Al,
Thank you for compiling the pictures and service history of Gerald, Stimp and yourself. What a wonderful thing to do for Veteran's Day.

Dandilion - wow! Your name is on a monument in Washington DC! Congratulations - and thank you.

There are so many fine folks on this board with connections to the military, I will forget someone if I try to name them to say "Thank You" so will just say a heartfelt "Thank You" to those who have served in the military and to their families who have supported them, by moving their homes periodically and by keeping the fires lit on the home front while loved ones served in remote tours of duty.

TJ's Na-Na, the sheriff's office has never ONCE offered to go with me to get my horse. Ever. I have called repeatedly to see if they will simply escort me. If they would have said "Sure, we'll escort you for your safety." Then I would have been there in a heart-beat. I am not trashing your sheriff or your sheriff's office. I am stating the truth.

I have not personally met with the sheriff only several of his deputies and investigators. As for the lease, that was my fault. I did not think to look up criminal records for a person who seemed so nice. You're right, my mistake. It will not happen again.

I have already been to the sheriff's office several times and given two separate reports since apparently the first one was mishandled. I was asked to give a written statement, twice. The person who took my written statement the second time seemed to not know any information about the lease agreement that was handed to the other deputy. It is not my fault that they either did not take care of the report properly, or did not read the information that was given. I have given registration papers, lease agreement copies, photographs, names, addresses, witnesses.

I have done everything I can do within reasonable circumstances. Other agencies are looking in and trying to find out why nothing is being done.

I'm sorry you feel as though I am attacking the sheriff directly, that is not my intent. I am attacking those in the agency who decide that allowing someone to get lost in the cracks is an okay practice, as long as they don't make a huge fuss.

Edit to add: Charges have been filed and a court date set for the criminal charges. Seeing as how their are criminal charges, it should not be an overly ridiculous request to have some sort of escort when I try to retrieve my property. I have asked and been told that they cannot and will not interfere.
