Les, I have the perfect black NN pullet for you ... well in the sun she has a beautiful green sheen to her feathers. Anyway, she is gorgeous except I have her in a growout pen with no other NN's and somebody chewed off her tail feathers

Anyway, she is big and gorgeous and it's sort of weird that her face is dark colored too ... including her little comb. I think you'd love her for your breeding project. She came from eggs I bought from jimshappycowboy here on BYC earlier this year.

He has some beautiful birds. Meet me at Shawnee with her? Teva gets off about the time you go in so I doubt that we could connect before then.

Gosh, I wish you could get her now. You just might be able to get her ready for the show!

OK, or I could bring her to Tinker with me and meet ya'll during my lunchtime next week ... around 7 pm. I could probably find a few NN eggs to give ya'll too ... but remember my roo's are all those funny looking frizzle birds.

Oh, and then in another grow out pen, I have 2 big blue NN roos that are jmhappycowboy roos. One is a dark blue & one is a splash blue, if I remember correctly. Want them too? I'd sure like those to go to a good home too. Unfortunately, I think all of them have bowties.

Osukrazykate, welcome to the okie thread, I wasnt born in Oklahoma either but was raised here and love it. Just be warry of all the enablers on here, if your not addicted to incubating and hatches eggs you will be soon.

Good Morning Okie's

Last night was Madison's second show. She had BB, RB, 2-1st, 2-2nd, 1-3rd and she won junior showmanship! She was very excited. We really liked the judge. I was surprised because there aren't that many birds in our club. They have more rabits than anything.

Glad you have decided to join this great group!
Disclaimer: Many of us are addicted to hatching poultry, poultry auctions and acquiring poultry. We also tend to be enablers so if you do not already have the same addictions, we will help you acquire them

So what kind of poultry do you have and what kind would you like to acquire?

I live in Oklahoma by choice and am proud to be called an Okie.
You have found a wonderful, helpful group of people who, if you are not already addicted to poultry auctions, hatching eggs and acquiring poultry, will assist you in acquiring such an addiction because some of us are enablers

(how is that for a disclaimer with a positive twist?

Seriously, what kind of birds do you have and what kind would you like to acquire? It is always as much fun to help someone else find just what they are looking for as it is to acquire them ourselves.

According to the handout prepared by Dr. Les, you should use a 7 day withdrawal period for Wazine.

By the way, if anyone wants one of the handouts prepared by Dr. Les for poultry health, send me a PM with your real name and mailing address (lots of room in my message box since I was anonymously gifted with a Gold Feather membership

) and I will send you a copy - no charge.

Here is the 12 step program for those of us who are addicted to chocolate:
*****The 12-step chocoholics program: Never be more than 12 steps away from chocolate.****
Maybe we can start a 12 step program for those of us addicted to chickens - never be more than 12 steps away from your chickens, or incubator or a poultry auction
