Oh! I forgot to tell you that Titus (my little JRT) killed a possum in my garden last night! I'd let him out one last time before going to bed, and I heard the ruckus and saw that he had something in the "shake and break" hold - but I couldn't see what it was in the dark. I ran inside to get a flashlight, and in just the couple of seconds it took for me to come back out, Titus had killed it and was standing over a dead possum...belly up, mouth open and showing all its scary teeth. It was late and I was tired, so I left it to deal with this morning.

So, I get up this a.m., get the shovel out of the garage, walk over to the corner of the yard to pick up the dead possum, but

?? No possum! I laughed out loud. I totally forgot last night that possums are known to "play possum." It fooled both Titus and me!

Have spent all day online looking for property in Chickasha...depressing....

My next door neighbor's foster son was jsut hauled off by the sherriffs. He was threatening to shoot her. He got expelled from School permanently for doing lewd acts while on a porn site at the school...

She has talked about opening a boys home there, for teenage boys....we are 9 miles from town...I told her to wait till her husband gets back from Iraq..he is doing civilian contracting work there...he keeps re-upping instead of coming home....I can't imagine having 8 teenage boys over there...she does special needs kids...all of them have psche trouble

Maybe God is getting us out of here just in time... lol...the rates are really low right now, but the market is so soft....

Whew!I'm wore out. I have been out all morning converting the dachsund pen into a pigeon coop. Put my parlors,pouters and archangels in it. Of course one archangel slipped out of my hands so I watched it all morning as I was working and tried to herd it ina pen but it wouldn't go. Finally got all my work done and set down to wait for it to o in an opening I made. It was almost in and out of no where a hawk attacked. They flew off the pen,I was shouting ,throwing everthing I could get my hands on, They hit the ground,I ran as fast I coul to try and scare it off the pigeon but it grabbed it and sailed over the ridge with it! I was so mad!!

Any way I changed all the chikens around and got everyone resituated in their new pens . Not so much crowding now. Emptytied the brooder,they can either survive the outside or not,they have been babied too long and are still not thriving. I had my button quail in the brooder also so I put them in an aquarium and now trying to figure out which room I can hide them in . Mrs. Brenda will likey wring my neck if she finds them in her house!lol Thats after she wrings it for me being out side working all morning!

Doodle...I did that the other day....! MIke and i were leaving to go somewhere and I saw this big ole chicken hawk land on our power pole. I jumped out of the truck and was running like a fool waving my arms and yelling....right in front of a farmer that has land out here....He musta thought I was outta my mind...!!! Hawk flew off though... sorry ya lost a pigeon...

Just got off the phone with Dakota's mom (wife to Greybear) and Dakota is still at Children's hospital in OKC. He has a very serious viral infection that has attacked his esophagus, from his throat to his stomach. He is expected to be in the hospital through the weekend and hopefully, will be able to go home early next week.

Dakota's mom asked me to thank everyone for their prayers for Dakota and for the family. They still need them, since Dakota has been very sick and isn't well enough to be unhooked from all the IVs yet. Lynn hasn't been able to be in OKC during the week because of work and because he is taking care of their daughter - so keep them in your prayers also.
