GoldRose, I'm not sure how that happened! The server was down for a few days, now I've got babies! I guess I need to name them. I want them grown so I can get more eggs!

I sold a young Fawn and White Runner last spring at Cement, and it brought $17! All my birds sold well at that auction.

Oh, I'm very excited - I may getting more fancy Silkies

I recently got a membership with the ABA and in their yearbook I found three local Silkie breeders who, of course, have show quality birds. Yesterday I sent out emails to all of them, and I have already heard back from one lady saying they did have some extra ones for sale right now

I just talked to the guy from the Pryor Bantam Show and he is sending the entry form out to us. OOOOOOOOOHHHHH I am sooooo eggcited!!!!

Shaun (the kiddo) is going to take his modern games, I hope he does well with them.
So what do I take?? We have bantam black wyandottes and bantam brown leghorns that we got at Shawnee. Then we have bantam cochins in black and birchen. My cochins are ok, but I don't know if they can even come close to Fred McGehee's

I have 3 Silverduckwing OEGB but they won't be ready by March, they were hatched 3 weeks ago.

Maybe just let the kiddo take birds and I will go and have fun and watch.

Yep, I got the BL from Jacob(?) Barnes, I have 5 hens and 2 roos now just to pick out the ones to take.

I know it is kinda silly, but I guess I worry about buying birds at one show then taking them to another show and compete against the person I bought them from. What if we don't take care of the birds upto the standard of the person we bought them from? What if we embarass them by winning? I guess I am over thinking it.

When I was barrel racing all the time I would have not given it a second thought about buying a horse from a fellow competitor then running against them on it, win or lose.
