I read that post as the Chupps was canceled, am I mistaken ?????. What kind of Broilers are you bringing and why ??.

AL

Oh poo-poo I really wish I could go to the Cement auction but I do not get enough time to spend with my daughter and friends anyway so this is a great time we can all get together. As for the broilers I think they are white but some seem to have some coloring on their wing tips. The reason I am getting rid of them is that they were packing for the chicks I ordered from Ideal. I have 15 more chicks coming next week that I want, so I have to make room in the brooders or all these chicks will be packed in there like sardines. They are growing really fast, heck they are already twice the size of the cochin and silkies I got last week.

Well I am off to night-night myself. Have a ton of things to do tomorrow that I have been putting off. You all have a good night!

Okcarla What are you going to do with three bucks?lolBest make wethers out of two if they are young enough, also if you keep the bucks separate from the females then the girls will hvae hardly any nasty smell and you can love on them better. Those boys can really get rank! What colors are the new ones? I always liked lots of color in my goats.uhmmm I guess I do in my chickens two!

Where the heck do you find chopped hay?

As for running up to the neighbors that would be a good idea, just ask him if you can buy some. I think I am confussed anyways. The neighbor should have hay to feed his cattle not straw. That might be a problem if you are asking where to find "straw" instead of hay.

Superior Poultry in Yukon? I ordered 2 dozen eggs and it took 3 months after they lost my order. I talked to Danny and he got it straigtened out. They wrap eggs in single ply toilet paper and put in an eggcarton to ship. I had maybe 5 eggs develop out of 2 dozen. The only chick I had was a tiny blue orp bantam, she was pretty but I just lost her. I wouldnt buy eggs unless you pick them up. There chick price is realy high too but there "suppose" to be good quality.

I'm no expert, but I don't see why it would harm your birds. I buy hay just to feed them, since they are used to free ranging and the green stuff is slim picking right now. They do like the green stuff.

I don't know if you have an Atwoods near you, but they tend to carry straw.

I'm pretty sure Carla meant Chupps, since she said she got if from a website.
