While reading this it made me think of a show I watched last night. I don't know what the guys name is and I was going to rewind and record it but I forgot. Anyways, he was doing more of a water painting.

tell you what, there are some odd artists out there, i actually had one teacher that made me promise not to take another one of his classes cuz i was too 'detailed' in my work- not an instructor from NSU, but in a community college- grrr..... i lean more towards realism- but some of these artists i've seen on tv make me think they give better artists a bad name.... ok, off my soap box!

I don't care for country music for the same reason that I don't care for alt rock ... most of it sounds like someone beating a baby with a bagpipe.

give me bands like alabama that i can understand....

You'd better! We had an hispanic pastor visit our church for Cinco De Mayo about 3 years ago.... He told us all to learn spanish because they were going to take the U.S. over....

it so annoys me when pastors take that attitude- first, what about compassion? I grew up in Southern California and love the spanish influence. My first job in high school was at a veggie stand, every friday the boss would call immigration and those poor workers would get deported unpaid. They had plans to send their money home when they did get paid, bad situation.

global warming

...leads to cooling, or so i've read....

spent my day reworking a fence- that donna hen is an escape artist, then comes to the front door and looks in...

then at midnite last nite the guineas decided to come off their branch and stood there, sitting ducks- so there i am in my nitegown and slippers shooing them into the run for safety.... was even able to pet them and hold them- so left the run gate open in case they decide its too cold for them tonite... wish they'd go in the coop

I cooked a ham last night for dinner tonight. Got beans going with the hock for tomorrow night, then it will be potato & ham soup, then fried potato mix....with ham & last but not least some noodle soup DH does with ham. LOL, wonder if it will all be gone then.

I had a great day Q. Took Matt for his pre-op & made it back to work for a couple of hours before coming home doing all my outside chores & cleaning out my car so I can get feed tomorrow. Told the boss if I can't get off my road he had to come pick me up.

BTW what the heck do you find to buy on ebay? I never find anything I am willing to pay that much for.

Evening Okies!

It is frozen here. I had to dry home in the freezing mist. I hope everyone got things ready for this cold spell, because it is coming fast and hard. I picked up three bags of feed and some BOSS on my way home from work. I also made a trip to the grocery store to stop up on a few things. I don't wanna have to get out if I don't absolutely need too.

Wayne, how close are you to Nashville?

Feed is the only thing that I didn't get picked up today but I got a feeling I am going to need the weight in the back of my car. I hope we don't get hit to bad. I also need any of you in the Tulsa area to let me know what the road are like tomorrow. I will have to be up there Friday for Matt's surgery.
