Teach, How big is the cook area in your smoker? Al is bringing a mobile kitchen but he is wondering how much cooking space we will have. My smoker isn't mobile but I can bring some old grills (I have quite a collection) if I need to.

Don, You are the one that has to figure how much your time is worth plus the materials in putting the bators together, I am sure you could sell some. I would be interested.

Don't hit anything too big on the way. I am not sure if we will have enough cooking space. So no horses. Deer are ok. If you hit a big fat steer I am sure we can work something out.
Maybe you could run a couple of trotlines and pick us up some catfish on your way over too?

I am looking at buying a bator...... I would love to buy something from some one rather then something out of a box......
On a side note a friend wants chickens (3 HENS) in Edmond.... Does any one know the city codes their?

We just hunt on private land but if I hear of a lease opening I will let you know. How hard is it to find a place to hunt antelope out there.
When they changed the whole state of Colorado to draw in only, it broke up our happy little hunting group.
We own a cabin and five acres right smack dab in the middle of unit 61 which is a prime deer and trophy elk area.
Actually I sold my piece of heaven on earth to the group but I still have cabin privleges. (Not everthing that happens in deer camp stays in deer camp)
I would never blackmail anyone but you can't tell them that.

Antelope hunting is fairly easy...you can expect to pay $750+ for buck tags from a land owner...and doe tags run anywhere from $100 (last minute) to a couple hundred or so...me and some buds bought some a couple years ago (does) I am saving my pennies for a buck...if they open the rest of our county I have a landowner buddy that has a freak on his property that is MINE! It has a crooked horn.

My grill is about 3-4 ft in length and 18-24 inches deep...there abouts...I can measure when I get home...good amount of cooking space. I would be game on paying for designs even especially if you fifure out an automatic turner! I might be young but I already have...now what was I talking about?

Well, it has taken me a good while to go thru everything BYC has to offer and find out where all the Okies hang out. My wife and I live north of Enid about halfway between Hillsdale and Kremlin. We enjoy gardening and taking care of all our animals. It's good to see so many folks from Oklahoma here! Greetings to all of you.

Next time you will have to give me a call! I have been known to tell lies with the best of them! Lousy year for hunting this year...way too dry. Looks like a fun set-up...to think we just go home and get in our beds!
