He's indoor only. Ragdolls have had all their protective instincts bred out of them and they will not survive outside (didn't think it was true until I found out with Rhodes that it is *absolutely* true that the purebreds won't even protect themselves against a dog).

I thought I'd posted on Wednesday that I (unfortunately) had to drive to Okmulgee on Saturday and pick up meat chickens (processed them on Sunday with P&B and my Dad). I made J promise to take me to the show on the 13th of Feb. I even got a small dog crate from my dad so that I may buy something depending on my money situation/budget.

Yah i forgot. I read that..Okmulgee is a ways to go glad you got thim birds cleand an put up .. if you need help on any mor birds just let me no ther are people around hear that dress out chickens b52fizzle cuts meat for living..

That's an idea. He normally doesn't get hairballs, but his coat is much heavier/longer than normal, so a blockage is a possibility. He doesn't have a problem with me manipulating his abdomen though... I was just petting his stomach (he rolls over and allows everybody to pet his stomach).

I made sure he was comfortable and he appears to be stable. I've got to get some sleep... I'll be up earlier than normal to check on him/determine if I need to call in and take him to the vet first thing, or if I can make an appointment for mid-day when the vet we normally see is there. The clinic has 7 vets, they're all good but there's always that one that just seems to really understand the pet... at least, in my opinion.

Yeah... but he's only mid-range in the size of the breed... around 15 lbs. The rest of the "size" is optical illusion... it's all the hair. Well, he IS a big cat... but they (as a breed) can get to 21 lbs or more.

Goodnight y'all

I appreciate the thoughts/comments on Rhodes. We'll see how it goes. Maybe he's just trying to keep me on my toes.

I don't like cake. Didn't even like my wedding cake, but I am really wanting to try this cake you keep talking about. Several years ago I made a Chocolate double layered torte, between the layers was a chocolate butter cream frosting and then I did a chocolate glaze over the whole thing. Now that was pretty good, but it isn't quite like cake more closer to a brownie I suppose. I used three different recipes to create it trying to replicate something I had a charity event I attended.

Gerald and I came home from work and the great pyrenees were there to greet us

They sure look sweet and innocent.

We must get that electric fence hooked up so this doesn't happen again. We bought the materials months ago, but haven't had time to install it. Hopefully there's instructions on how to hook up one?

Wayne, thanks for thinking of me about the mini donkey and more fainting goats. I probably shouldn't get a donkey althought that one sure is a cutie ... but thought I might could sneak a few more goats in without Gerald noticing

Gerald keeps yelling at one buck that follows him in the barn when he's getting buckets of feed & gets in his way ... and the poor goat faints

We'll pray for your daughter and friend. Years ago, my daughter had a lump & went to the doctor & got it checked out. Dr did a byopsy & said it was nothing to worry about. I can't recall what they said it was though, maybe fatty deposit? Apparently it's not uncommon to get a lump and it go away. But, your daughter needs to get it checked out quickly to make sure.

Gerald had a sister that died from breast cancer last year.

The weathersite I use to keep me up to date for my bicycling weather, says just ice pellets (sleet?) all day Thurs. I hope! I hope!
