Thanks Steph, Sorry I got sidetracked. Thanks for the info. I think I am gonna ask my feed store guy the next time I am there to check into MFA. Can't hurt.

What is the address of S&S? Isn't it off of 177? I have a friend that drives there from here to get his feed.

They are a bunch of good ole boys down there. Everytime we going in one of the guys( Im thinking he is the owner or very close to it) gives us a hard time. We are trying to convince him to sell chicks in the store. He says his only problem is nobody wants to take care of them on the weekends. I told him he was only closed on Sunday. Lol

I'm with Sooner - hanging around...

I get the Big V feed from Tulsa Feed (thanks Pepper48_98 & Engiekisses!). It is the 20% protein. The tag says it contains pork meat & bone meal. Milled in McAlester.

Okay I am getting robbed. I paid $14 for 50lbs of 20% layer feed and $9.50 for 50lbs of scratch yesterday at the feed store down the road from my place. Atwoods is not any cheaper. I need the names of some cheaper feed stores, the prices I am paying really suck!

Offer to do it for him, on comission of course.

With all of the feed talk I am going to have to re-evaluate my feeding program, or lack of.
I guess I never thought about the chickens NOT being vegetarians. And that they needed the animal protein.
That is why I like it here!! you guys ROCK!!

It is raining here and it is defiantly muddy. Most of the goats are in the barn, but getting to the barn is a chore within itself.
I may end up moving our other 2 to the barn also just so they can have some place dry to walk around.

They are replacing a low water bridge at the edge of our property, with the noise of the excavators and such it has had the dogs in a tiss today. THAT makes napping on a rainy day hard!!

Well i better do something productive before John get home and puts a knot on my head!!
