The mother is a few lbs to heavy to be a mini, she was 15 before being bred her first heat, she's a chunk. I dont know what she weighs now. She was bred to a smaller winnier and had 2 minis, out of it. The father to this pups is a miniature I would guess he aint heavy. I kinda prefer the bigger ones, they seem easier to house train for some reason. Ill get some photos of her and her babies from her first litter, about a year now.

This is Emma, she is a mini out of my Blk and Tan Hermione.

This is all 3 of them together, Emma, Hermione (mom), and Ginny. She had 4 females her first litter. I do know one who went to my friends said she got pretty big. The other i belive did as well. Ginny is a little bigger than emma but if they quite growing they are minis i guess. The father is a chocolate based red but this will be his 2nd litter, his first still isnt born yet so i dont know what he will throw.

OMG... they are so cute! I am a sucker for them.... I have 2 now... a brother and a sister from the same litter. The brother is dragging. He has something wrong with his intestines and can't keep food down. So I have to get Purina Sensitive Stomach and grind it up like baby cereal, so he can keep it down. He is so thin, but still peppy and eats good. He is my cuddle dog. He is very sweet... maybe he knows I'm grinding up salmon flavored dog food only for him!! (stuff is nasty... has to be cooked first, then processed.... does it ever STINK!!) Weenies are the best. Stubborn, but loyal to a fault... the dorks...

From what ive seen (but not experienced my self) doxies do have serious issues with there diets. My stepdaughters dads was nearly killed from eating nothing but table scraps. Now they have to keep him on beneful healthy weight or something like that. THey are extrememly loyal and rash lol. Mine try to take on the rottweiler, thank gawd she is a gentle giant. This will probly be the last litter i have for a long time. I love raising the pups but worrying about a good home for them is something I dont like. 3 of these are already going to good homes, who knows how many more she will have. I hope she dont have more than 4 though. Unfortunetly that means my wife will get attached and want to keep it, but with 7 dogs aint no way

You may try some of that high dollar refrigerated food if you can find it, not the frozen brand but Reasors down here carries a full line of refrigerated food.

I miss my wienner dogs

Puddles my first dog died from distemper...long story lies told...little boy cried...alot...not a way for a dog to die...My father might have gotten a little ugly with "the friend"

Second one...General Beareguard...General...had him a long time (age 8 to 17) but he took to wandering in his old age and might have gotten a little lost...can dogs git Alziehimeirs?...anyways the newspaper guy got him...sad but not as bad I was lots older and we were out of town at the time...I think he went looking for me and forgot what he was doing...

Those are some good dogs...General could point! Very amusing to see. He and I were unstoppable on the basketball court...he bit anyone that got near me!

Those were some good dogs...

They were good dogs to grow up with...now I have a big dumb lab! I've had him longer than my kids! Poor guy can't load into my truck anymore and he used to clear the 6ft fence! I doubt he will make it another winter (don't know if I can watch him through another one)

Hey, Monty, that gave me a great idea. We could do a raffle table that people donate things to and the money goes to fund the POOPS event. Annnnnd we could have a silent auction table where people bring higher-dollar items to sell and then they can keep that money (or, they could still donate it if they wanted to...)
What do you all think?

Those sure were some cute Dashounds and cute Silkies, reminded of my moms dog when I was a kid, She was the red color Mini D. she always wanted to go out and do chores with me so she could eat the chicken feed with the laying hens, never bothered either of them, they all just crowded around and ate with her right in the middle of um, She ended up allergic to grass of all things, mom took her in for a shot every week, fed her ice cream, let her sleep on the pillow between her and dad, heck she treated her better than us kids, we all loved that dog.
