Stimp is doing well today. I have new truck fever and I'm trying to decide if I want to trade my red truck in or not.

Yes, I saw that you'd picked her up. I'd be interested in John's comments about her. I suppose she could be a blue partridge, 'though she's not from my really good pair. I've had no fertile eggs from them, but do plan to try AI.

You're tellin' me!?! It took less than 2 hours and counting the price of the water heater from Lowes, I'm out just under a grand. Talk about killin' a budget.

I know, them dang plumbers make a good living if you call them on weekends.... Thats why I keep Carl around, doesnt cost me as much as a plumber, carpenter, telephone guy, or any other trade would cost me if I had to pay them..... heck I dont even have to feed him if i dont want to....lol

I know what you mean. I was a contractor most of my life, and 10 years ago I could have done that job by myself and saved all that cash. Getting old sucks on ice.

Hello everyone! I'm new to the board. I have just started back with chickens. I'm trying to put together a backyard flock for my three children. I would like to have an assortment that lay different colored eggs. Does anyone have any suggestions on types of chickens and ducks that lay colored eggs and where can you get them. I would like to buy from local, individual breeders not big hatcheries.

I will be hatching cornish rock crosses (eating chickens) for the Kids, Kows and more thing at NEO.
I will be doing a workshop on poultry and I had eggs donated for the project. John says we can NOT raise them to eat so they must go!
I will be donating the money back to the 4 H, possibly to a newly formed poultry club.

Hey Steph doing great sitting hear watching some UFC re-runs and doing some figuring the DW surprised me today and said you know we are going to have to build some more pens she is wanting to get some young RIR and Buff Orps, I picked up some older ones yesterday but they are to old for my liking so we shall see what happens!!

Stimp great to see ya sorry to hear about your water heater problems, my DW had a new stove and fridge installed while I was in Vegas lol
