Did you buy chicks because you couldn't tell a 5 year old "no" or because they were cute and you didn't tell yourself "no?"

Sooner - nobody would bad mouth you...to your face

Carla!!! Howdy girlie! I had lots of dew today

Q - spoonbills you say...seen pics but never caught anything like it...you snag them right? How big of one have you caught? Do they eat good or what is the deal with them? I am so fishing deprived it isn't funny! I used to go fishing all the time when I was little...salt water fishing mostly. You haven't lived until you loose fish on a stringer to a shark...while wading

I raise fawn runner ducks and hope to be able to take some ducklings or eggs to our Okie get together on May 1. You do have that on your calendar don't you?

AH! I knew there must have been some reason

If you could fit it in, I think you should come in May! Just be sure to have an empty incubator ready, because there are sooooo many hatching eggs that sell there

Hmm... not really looking for anything unless I come across some dark welsummer or nice dark marans (BC or Cuckoo) eggs I just can't pass up.

Carla has some very dark cuckoo maran eggs. I like to buy her maran eggs from her "non-cuckoo" marans at the auctions, because the eggs are so dark. I don't bid on the cuckoo marans because those resemble a barred rock and I am not particularly fond of the barred rock coloring.

I will also have duckling type things...cuz i am an idiot! Well...addicted

Q - life has been rude to Monty...he was driving a grocery getting van...not a cool magic poulty van...just a regular grocery getting kind with all the seats in it!

Teach yeah snagging is the only way to catch them, the biggest one I have caught was 78 lbs buy my dad caught a female last year at 96lbs, they are really good eating as long as they are cleaned right and ALL the red meat is taken off when cleaning, we usually grill it with a little cayenne pepper and lemon pepper and a little butter but it is also great fried as well!!!

Another person has experienced the joys of hatching eggs and begun the path to addiction!

(Have I ever mentioned that hatching addicts love to encourage others to become hatching addicts?)

He is a good sport. Just keep in mind that although there is always a great deal of truth to his stories about me, he does sometimes "embelish" them just a little bit to make them funnier
