Thank you for auctioneering and for setting up shop to show how to make cages. I intended to come back after I set up my bee observation hive to talk to you some more about how to make cages, but time got away from me. I am delighted with the show cage we bought for Jaxon in the auction. You do nice work.

I wanted to let everyone know how greatful we truly are for the way you guys welcomed Brooklynn and Priscilla to the POOPs Event... Priscilla is so spoiled with being held she has not allowed me a chance to put her down with out her getting restless.. ha ha... Once I charge up the Cam I will post pic of all you wonderful guys showing them the love...

I agree POOPS should be a yearly a event 2 X is a big thing but at the same time though a nice break from reality of home to get together with ya'll fine folks. I cant believe I came home with foo foo birds.. tee hee I think they are growing on me well ya know like a RASH.. ha ha but a good one.. ha ha.

DOC& Peaches get that Bator fired up we have eggs that need to come over and hatch ha ha!

Micheal: thank you for allowing us to buy the Dr Seuss Ducks from you... You are one of the sweetest kindest gentleman we have ever met and proud to call you a fellow chicken friend... Shall we see you at Fletcher Auction?

I had to leave shortly after you took on Al's job, but it sounded like you were doing great

Your cages were fantastic! I almost bought one (....a few times) but I have a stack of show cages already.

Jeannie - what is a "Dr. Suess" duck?

Michael - thank you for selling the ??? old english frizzle hen????? to Jaxon. He has carried that poor thing around, insisted we buy one of the pretty show cages for her and is delighted to have a calm bird that is just the right size for him to handle. I don't know whether we should try and find her a roo or even what kind would be a "match" for her. But Jaxon is a happy camper.

My wife and I had a great time at POOPs yesterday! We had actually planned to just come out for a few hours to by a few birds and check out the different breeds. Well she had to buy some raffle tickets wich forced us to stay a little while longer but it was worth it becasue she won the cookie jar that she wanted. It was pulled out and put on display before I ever got in the house.

Everybody was so kind and made a pair of newbies feel very welcome. We will attend next time. My wife even wants to rent a cabin and stay on site next year.
My grandmother would have loved having an event like this to attend. It was her and her love of chickens that got me started in this hobby.

Once again we had a great time and thanks to all who set this up.

We just made it in less than an hour ago. Right now "we" are unloading the truck. Corey just gave me the stink eye thru the screen door so I had better get back out there. We had a great time yesterday visiting with everyone. I think we left with as many birds as we took but what is an addiction without your enablers...

Thanks so much to Carl for dubbing our OEGBs. That is an yucky job.

I'll get back later.

I'm interested in knowing who went home with the two Silkies (black & white) that were in the raffle (did you get them Kathy?!), and also who won the Frizzle Cochin cockeral that was in the raffle (his name was Elroy when he was at my place - quite a personality, that one.)

That was AnnaBell... If any of you talked to her you knew she really really wanted him... She thought his name should be porcupine...
She is in love and so far all seems well....
Do tell tho of this personality.....
