I am fine up north of Stillwater, would also like to say I like the idea of a phone tree of all the "Okies"( All Chicken Folks) on our forum, maybe three or four people have a phone list to check on people, I do not mind sending my number to someone if needed, Monty has my number already also. Thanks for for the story, I too had read it before, what a wonderful story and it reminds me of an old man that I lived next to while growing up, beautiful and so try. Slow down and spend some time with someone you love, you will never regret it, Thank you all for your time today and have a blessed day all, Lynn ps, on a sad note, I lost the only two chicks I hatched from under hens, but life goes on and we live to set more eggs!!!!!

Well now, that was fun last night. Green skies, Crazy wind...chickens squawking in the background. My family and I ended up going to my parent's house. Much safer place than ours. I sorta got laughed at though when my mom realized I was getting my two diapered chickens out of the car along with my daughter. Her exact words were "Seriously? you brought them?" Uh...duh? Right along with my handfed fids that have to be fed every 3 hours

My chickens were not thrilled about the change of scenery. All ended well though. Came back home to find some of my stuff blown all over the place but no damage. Saw some of the videos online from last night and yikes. I hope everyone is ok.

Morning everyone

Went out to feed and we lost 3 of our baby ducklings last night

so we have 2 baby mallards that we ordered left and the one duckling Raffle that jason won at PooPs

I am glad to hear everyone is accounted for and doing alright! Goes to show how much we love our non blood family when we all worry about them in times like this. I popped on to make sure Muesky was alright since I signed off last night we had no word on her or Uli.

Not sure if we will make auction... we will try Jason is expected home from the field Thursday or Friday... (hoping for Thursday)

How is everyone else doing?

This is hail that fell in my yard (off Anderson Rd.). The hail that fell in Moore was MUCH bigger.....like grapefruit size. It went right through people's roofs and broke a lot of car windshields.

thats some wicked hail for sure for sure

It's big enough that you sure don't want to get hit by it. Each piece actually impacted about an inch or more into the soil when it hit.

OK, my cable is finally back up. We made it thru with no damage, just lost electricity for the night. We stayed in a hotel in Norman last night. I can't live without air conditioning.

Thanks for your concern.
