Kathy : No dear not from me I no longer keep silkies, haven't for some time now. Perhaps someone will chime in and remember.

Doc : I plan on making it to your auction Saturday if nothing comes up which I don't think will, so yeah count me in.

Monty : Close call Man, glad you and the family are Ok, I was worried sick when I saw the Luv's & Sonic on TV.

Good Morning Al. How does Laura like her new ride?

Peaches

She absolutely loves it !!!!!!!!!!!!! I was glad to put a smile on her face. I was thinking last night OOHHHH great big storms and hail, just my luck to have hail damage on a 2 day old new car, got lucky though. Something tells me I woun't be driving it much LOL.

Al, I agree with that feeling. After working 14 hours and not looking forward to another two, I was more worried about checking in and making sure our friends were safe than I was getting my work done. I spent an hour online reading the posts yesterday when I should have been working. I was too worried to work. I ended up being an hour past deadline on my work, but I don't care. I had more important things to check on. I am so glad that everyone is okay. It may be rough to rebuild, but it will be easier than dealing with the loss of a loved one. My heart goes out to those who did lose someone yesterday. We got the awful wind and a few sprinkles. I just knew that something bad was a brewin' when I went outside on my break. I didn't have access to a tv or radio, so I wasn't sure. It just looked and felt like something awful was happening. It took us 2 hours to finally hear anything about DH's grandpa. He lives a few miles from Choctaw Road. Andrew's cousin drove the 30 minutes to make sure he was fine. She is the closest relative and was more than happy to make the trip. He rode the storm out fine. I'm not sure if he had any damage, but he said that he was uninjured. That is all that matters.

Hey, Did I tell those that have NN that I picked up 5 hens at the Blanchard sale the other nite?

Doc doesn't care for them, but last night he came in from putting all the birds away, and said with a smile on his face, " those NN sure are gentle."

Do you think he will get use to them?

Thanks Al. I have been trying to get to my neighbors a mile south but they won't let me through.
I know one friend in that area lost the roof of their house.

P&B, Thanks for letting me know about Pat. I know him well.

Hey Monty...sure glad you all were safe. I surely would have been scared to death. One of the first things we're going to do at my parents place is fix the cellar so it doesn't leak. I don't want to keep using a sump pump all the time.

Monty....I'm beginning to think you all aren't living right....you keep getting those darn tornado's.

You know I'm just kidding. My pappaw used to say that all the time when kidding someone. Thankful you're ok as well as the others. God is good.

Have a Blessed Day!

Micheal Daugherty tells me that Jim from the Blanchard auction was close to the tornado - just missed him. Blew the high line poles down onto the Vo-tech roof (where the Blanchard auction is held) and turned some cars and trucks over on the highway near where he lives.

I tried to call Lisa and Eric this morning and got a recording. Their business card says they are in Newalla. Hopefully, Michael Daugherty or I will either hear from them or they will post their status.
