Yes, they are cute as a bug's ear. As a general rule, I don't breed anything after May 1. I know several breeders in Oklahoma who stop at the end of April. When we were in Indiana, Ohio and Illinois picking up the Flemish Giants, some of those breeders bred some does at a show held June 5 in Kentucky. Theoritically, it would be cooler there than in Oklahoma, but we were plenty warm while visiting. I had forgotten how cool "heat lightening" can be in the evening.

Peaches I wish you had some of our rain,an inch already this morning! I'm mowing twice a week and having to rake the mowed grass up! I'm ready for some "dry" jeat here.I hate this humidy.Rain today and in the 90s this weekend,anyone say sauna!

P&b we used to breed our does year round in eastern Ok. Sometimes had to frozen milk jugs in or hook up fans,but its usually better to keep them on breeding schedules. Sometimes if you back off they are difficult to breed again.

Little comet hen hatched another,thats 17 and one more is piped!

Morning everyone,


I am happy that its over cast... even if its still a bit muggy... Having to start over with planting my garden seeds, this time I wont be using them "jiffy green houses" as most of my seeds went fungal...

so disappointing with myself for that... then to top it off the labels went flying into the wind when the kids would water them so I had no idea which was what any how. Any of you guys gardening this year? What adventures are you experiencing?

Jason and I were talking last night how awesome it was that we(well actually Big Momma) hatched out the eggs for us, amazing how beautiful life is when you let nature do what it was intended(but we are not against you bator folks . ha ha ha ) ... Wish I could show ya pics of the babies but still can not locate the charger for my camera

Well I am going to make like a plane and jet with the weather with out the sun I am able to go outside... Its like I am a vampire.. ha ha

We put out a garden this year. Not expecting much since I haven't been home to take care of it. My yellow squash are starting to make, now if I could get enough for a cassarole.

Overcast here too. Was muggy yesterday, not sure if we are getting any rain today or not.

Thank you all for your prayers, got grandma home yesterday. She is doing good but has a little ways to go to being back like she was. Hopefully that will come soon.

Time to go back to check out what everyone has been up to.
