Would love to or at least be free enough to come to a few. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel now.

We understand that you have had the weight of the world on your shoulders lately with Grandma and the hospital runs.

If it wasn't for all that we have going on right now and me leaving, maybe we would think about taking on the task of building another

auction closer to your part of the state. As it stands right now, we can't take that onto our plate. Maybe you could pass around the idea

and someone would step up to start one for the eastern part of the state. Who knows, once I get back and retire from the Army, maybe

Peaches and I will think about it. You never know.

I think there are a few that have or are thinking about it, you never know but the real thing is getting to see my chicken friends.

Sooner you going to share that squash casserol recipe with us(only if its easy!lol). Our squash are about two inches long. Tomatoes are setting on ,corn got blowed over but is standing back up. Pumpkin and gourd patch is threatening to swollow the whole back yard!lol
Showers keep comming and going. I went and got the new pup its shots, did the ironing ,now I guess I'll work on my quilt and listen to MIL gripe and whine!

We did our puppet show for the kiddos in the summer reading club this morning. 443 kids and parents in the audience.

Which was fine, until I looked on the sidelines and saw the assistant city manager watching me do my opening ventriloquist bit. That made me more nervous than all those other people combined. I never quite got back on track. Reports were that he loved it, though.

We'll see what the afternoon show brings. This stuff wears me out. I'm tired already.

This Saturday I've got to get back over to J's house and mow the lawn. He's at AT (2 weeks at Ft. Sill) and the grass just grows too fast right now to let it go 2 weeks before mowing it. Other than that I'll be... oh, yeah... scrubbing the kitchen and bleaching the floors/cabinets/walls, and re-doing the outside coops (shoveling out old pellet, etc).

Man that must be quite a show. You are gonna have to find a stadium if you keep drawing crowds like that.
People don't realize how tiring doing a show like that is.
I couldn't do it now. It wore me out when I was doing them 25 years ago.

You should post a picture of your ventriloquist partner. Have you ever used a live partner (dummy) for your vemtriloquist show? Those can be fun.

Welcome to the best bunch anywhere. Although some of our folks are spread out, like Tennessee, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas and Nevada.

If there is anything we can do, let us know.

Peaches is my wife and HotDog is our son.

Hi-Jacker
