Atwoods is a bunch of silly people for one they asked me to cull some chicks they had because they couldnt do it. then there advertising bantam white cornish as cornish rock cross meat birds. Feel sorry for the noob that buys all of those birds thinking he is gonnna raise a bunch of healthy meaties for his family LOL.

hi guys, everybody is tucked into their respective coops- thanks on the large poultry coop size- see when i first started out it was going to be a handful of chickens..... but then tsc had some

looking ones, then orchlens had some bare butted chicks

....and then i went to poops.....

... there you have it..... current count.... mixed flock almost integrated of 18, banties flock of six, but i bet that will grow too...waterfowl 5, and guineas 4 i think.... hmmmm... maybe i need to quit counting! and am having a blast! even when the roos are glaring at each other....

Right now the only show we have in the works is the local 4H show in 2 wks, she is going to show her Black Cochin Roo & possibly a couple of barred rocks, I'm sure there are others but she hasn't got that lined out yet, we will be working on it this week.

We will miss most of the big shows (Tulsa state fair) & most likely Shawnee, just too much stuff going on with the build.

A couple of questions for you guys.

1. who are the cochin dealers on the BYC? I want more cochins but those two women @ the Blanchard auction just will not stop bidding. lol
2. I was told that ducks are great wasp eaters. Is this true? If so I want one execpt wife says that they poop too much.

May have to start ordering chicks and raising my own cochins.
