Blanch sale late in the nite.

That is a very well lit barn, easy to see the items up for bids.

Years and years ago the auction there at Jones had a single light bulb that hung above the center of the ring. That is why a lot of horse traders liked that place. That bulb threw shadows so bad that a buyer never could really see the horse they were bidding on. LOL

Damon and Angie have really improved things there at Jones, last time there there was a fresh coat of paint on the bleachers and new restroooms up by the office. No more walking 1/4 mile, it seemed, in the cold or wet to take care of business.

They also installed a ceiling so there are no longer exposed rafters with insulation and cobwebs on them, just a short distance from the top row.

Sometimes, all the bargains are after 9:30 - which is why you don't want your birds going through late in the sale - by 10:30, everyone just wants to "get it over" so they can go home and some stay for one or two particular birds and others stay because they want their cages and they aren't empty yet. I have left that auction however at midnight or later, more than one time. In fact, I haven't stayed until the end the last couple of times I have attended. . . because about 4-5 hours of poultry auction is about my limit when I not looking to buy anything in particular.

Roll Call blanchard I will be there Selling a few birds I think I am bringing 10 wynadottes and 1 roo for a friend. Some cornish hens. Some easter eggers and some buff Brahma roo's Looking to buy almost laying RiR's White Plymouth rocks and A good solid RiR roo. Also want some Buff Ops if i can swing that we shall see.

Maribeth, Everytime I look at my EE's I change my mind as to their sex.
I know the two blue/reds are roos. Still not sure about the solid blues.
They have very small combs but they are straight comb not pea comb. They have muffs and dark legs.
