That would be great, about this time next year! It is alot of fun! They have music after we eat & they were really good. If I have the most visitors I win a two man bass tracker. 32 took it last year, 18 took it this year.

Sounds like a great supper Sooner! The buff colored one is a hen the dark red is the roo. He is the one Mr. Bill got for me.Have you ever found a hen to go with yours yet?

Sounds like all had a great time at the sale. Good to see your prices are staying up Michael, ours are starting to fall here. Did they have any pigeons?

Well the bluish comb is a symptom. There are cases that are called sub-clinical. The animal, or human, is sick yet shows no outside symptoms. Like walking pneunomia in humans.

There is a catlle buyer in Enid that can walk through a pen of seemingly healthy cattle and pick the sick ones out before they even have a fever. Cut those cattle out and pen them and sure enough in a day or two they will be showing illness.

No I still don't have a hen, his neck is starting to turn red & he sure is pretty......I figure Madison will show him sometime this season.

As soon as I get a chance I am going to thin out some more & when I do that will open up some room.

that is really a good deal! I just paid $6.79 for a 50 lb bag which would be $13.48 for 100#

Well, that is the unbagged. If you include the sack and the sacking fee, that adds another dollar per 50 pounds, so $10 would be the actual price if you bagged it.

Still a good price, though.

Yeah, that was pretty exciting. Funny thing is I sold two of their sisters at the last Fletcher auction and they only brought $2.50 each. Just goes to show it all depends on who is there to bid. My wife pointed out I did use one of our better cages this month, while last month it was a junky one. Maybe that has some psychological effect.

Or maybe these girls were just better looking birds.
