I bought a funny little rabbit cage at Blanchard. I paid $17.00, probably too much, but I fussed around with it and secured the 3 parts together and put it on my old radio flyer wagon for a Beverly Hill Billies chick brooder/house to use in my garage for this winter.
My husband got the wagon for me a couple of years ago from a old man that has some good junk for sale on 23rd street. The wagon is a Detriot Free Press delivery wagon. He got it for me because I'm from Michigan, and to use for all my gardening and ect. I wonder what the story is on how it got to Oklahoma. It gets alot of use and is quite rickety, got to oil the axels every couple of months or the squeeking disturbes all the ducks and chickens in the neighborhood.
Now it is part of a moble home for chicks.
Those are good looking cornish M&M!They should make some good breeders for next season.
Okcarla glad you will be able to get off the overtime but its to bad you and hubbly will be on different shifts.
My neighbors beale is out and is outside my window trailing a rabbit. They are thick around here and it will be howling all night if he doesn't put it up!
I am likeing my new ee roo ,he is shorter than the last one so that will be a good thing. I counted 13 pullets/hens in the ee pen so I guess before spring I will need to cull out a few more. I really don't need more than six.
