Okiemommy, I saw the I-240 guinea flock a few weeks ago. When I saw them from a distance I thought they were turkeys. When I got closer I saw about 40 on the side of a hill. No telling how many more were up on top.

That reminds me. Have you seen the Turkeys?

They're on the other side of I-240. They seem to have a range from about just East of Air Depot to Anderson Rd. Just taking a guess, but they probably come from the Lake Draper area. The most I have seen are about 15 at a time.

I know that a book called the American Standard of Perfection by the American Poultry Association has a chart with all the different comb types, but I am not sure if this in online anywhere....
Either way, for anyone with poultry the Standard is a great read

Sonya, your a good "mommy" to save those chicks from that ol' metal contraption. If I "saved" as many chicks as I wanted to the last time I was at a feed store, I think I would need a few more acres out back

I really would not worry about that incubator! The only way 102* would hurt them is if they were that hot for a loooong time.

Sonic - cherry,lemon,lime,orange,vanilla Sprite.

The kiddo loves them. I love ordering them, they ALWAYS go UH?
I ended up with iced tea, so tastey. I like tater tots with chili and cheese.

TSC has chicks and ducks in!! I love baby ducks

Well baseball is here, tonight we are suppose to go to the little league field and start cleaning the concession stand up and working on the field. Our concession stand is used as a mouse brothel durning the off season.

When we was doing sign ups one of them little boogers ran across my foot and I nearly took out one large woman and several small children. Tonight we are suppose to strip everything out of the building and bleach the floor, walls and such. I will be standing out in left field with a shovel incase any come near me.

Stripping at little league! I gotta join that one! We just shovel dirt and mow and water and yeah...no stripping here!

I bet I could get you to strip!!

Itsy Bitsy Spider climbed up the teachies leg,
Off came his pants and then he began to beg.....
No more spiders large or small,
I'll be nice!! I don't like them not at all!!

Ma'am, drop that shovel and back away from the mouse

I'm sorry I can't do that!! They are evil little creatures with beady eyes!!
I have even got my hennies trained to chase them down and dispatch them!!

I have to say I may not have met you yet but the scene that went through my head as I read that was entertaining

Mmmmm.... its after happy hour no more sonic talk! I'm proud I resisted temptation today

Hennypenny - http://www.centralhatchery.com/ We ordered some broilers from them, they ship today, it only cost us about $1 per chic including shipping. Its beyond their normal shipping zone, so I'm just anxious since this will be our first home delivered order. I was hoping someone else in OK may have used them before and had good results

Hubby has coached since Shaun was in T-ball. So 2 years of T-ball, 2 years of 7-8's (pitching machine) 2 years of 9-10 yr old (kid pitch) and now on to 11-12 yr olds. Next year will be our final season in Little League

This year our 9-10 yr old team has 4-5 girls on it!! No pitchers and I am not sure about a catcher.
I don't have a problem that girls play baseball, but starting out in that age group is going to be rough! Kids don't have control of thier pitches yet and it game goes so slow. Walk, walk walk, strike out, walk, run walks in, hit by pitch, run walks in.
I am glad we have a 6 run rule!!

After all the talk about tater tots I am starved!! So we are having tater tot casserole tonight!!
