Okies in the BYC The Original

I suppose that I should get a shower and get ready for bed. My 4 am wake up call comes way too early, especially when it is followed by 12-14 hours of work that I am beginning to hate. Don't get me wrong, I love the job and helping the patients. It is the coworkers that expect you to do your job and theirs, because you are lower on the totem pole and have to do what they say, while they play on Facebook, which isn't even allowed at work.

I am going to head to bed also. It has been fun visiting.

Carla - one of the turkey hens I got from you Sunday laid an egg yesterday. I was especially delighted since my hens stopped laying last month - at least where I could find the eggs.

sure am glad there was space in an incubator for that turkey egg

I'm sure glad I logged on tonight & got to visit with lots of dear Okies! I hope many can get together at the Shawnee show in December. It's so much fun visiting with people that share a common passion.

Good night to all you early to bed, early to rise folks. One of these days, I'll need to learn to be one too.

Good night, sleep tight, & don't let the bedbugs bite!

watching the miners being raised from underground in Chili reminds me of watching non-stop many years ago when the little girl in Texas (???) was rescued from an abandoned well hole over a 2-3 day period.

And it has been Carla's wonderful olive eggers, assorted marans and NNs that provided the eggs filling up my incubators

This is from the person who told Donna that "rules are rules" so she had to stay on line?

We did post over 150 posts this evening and it was fun to try and post then go back and read all the posts I missed while I was typing.

But Donna didn't mind me and I do have to get up at 6 for a 7:30 appt. across the metro.
We can do this again for sure. I think the thread will pick up as cooler weather arrives.
G' Night everyone!

Munch is ok, he's in a pen and will hopefully be safe.

I lost another rooster today... Same MO. Wondering now if it might be a bobcat...

We'd left the radio on hoping the noise would scare anything away.

its happening shortly after noon. Best we can figure, since my bf comes home for lunch and all was well at that time.
