I'm not real sure what the differents is but she is smaller than my NHR so I guess that would be a bantam. If you care to explain the difference I might be able to tell you.

She was a feed store baby last spring. I have three of them and wish I had a roo to go with them.

Now that I know how to post pic's I might drive ya'll crazy!

Ok, I'm finally caught up with all you early morning people. I didn't get to sleep until nearly 3am last night and then had to get my girls up at 4am so they could catch the school bus to Idabel at 5:15am.....I came home and went back to bed and slept in much later than I should have.

We woke up and found big, fat, feathery snowflakes coming down and actually sticking! I was shocked to have snow down here. Of course it stopped about an hour or so later and it's already melted.

Dot, yes it was Ms. Lorene, such a sweet and wonderful lady. Do you know any Schiwarts here in town? My husband is Kenneth and his parents are Ken and Kathy...his dad was a supervisor out at Franklin Electric for many many years. They attend Calvary Baptist.

I showed my husband the snow pics from Arpelar and he was drooling over the Pitt County Sheriffs car being a charger....he graduates from Eastern this semester with his criminal justice degree...he's currently working part time as an officer for the college.

My daughter, Megh just went out to get the eggs out of the coop and said it is a swampy mess, just like I expected.

I feel so lazy today...I guess I should do some laundry and clean my kitchen...sigh.

I think we have the same gal in a feed store up here! I went in and asked for oyster shell...she asked if it had another name...I told her its friends called it Stan. She didn't get it

Hey I just cleaned the kitchen. Wasn't too hard once I got going.
Wifie is napping, won't she be surprised by that clean fesh smell of pinesol. Of course my son just came in and tracked red mud from the front door to the kitchen. I guess that is my motivation to mop.

Do any of you use DE with your flock? I've been looking up stuff on it and it seems like it could be beneficial, plus I can dust my dog with it too! I'm sure it's impossible to find a local dealer of this stuff..I might have to start indoctrinating the local feed store with info and maybe convince them to order some.

It is kinda funny really...yesterday was so miserably cold and today it is trying like heck to warm up but there is so much snow! They claim we got over a foot. The sun is shining and everything is melting but you gotta wear glasses!

The boys are inside for an hour or two then outside for about 20 mins...inside to warm up and get their sight back then back out! At first the wife was trying to keep stuff clean and dry...I think she gave up and is watching CSI!

Went into the garage / shop ...my space...the stupid tweety birds got in there during the night and snow and there is poop on everything!
somad.gif
The boys are getting new BB guns...with more power! and scopes...and I am gonna cut holes in the screens and we are gonna do some sniping! And I sure hope my wife doesn't catch me

never used the DE...lots of folks talk about it on here though...according to some of them you are an idiot if you don't and shouldn't be allowed to have chickens...

You folks with auctions close by make me jealous

While i am on that...why in the world would they put carpet in a bathroom? At least I own this one so we fixed that issue! As soon as we get the boys a little better house trained...we are gonna put all new floors in the place...sure hope I don't need to move my double wide dream!

We had carpet in our bathroom when we first moved in... I had hubby tile IMMEDIATELY....!

I repeat....REPEAT.... No spiders for Teach...
cool.png
. Those in possession of spiders will be apprehended and forced to share a cabin with Mike...who snores...loudly......

I have the kids clean them most of the time but my girl is happily watching the hatching. I sent the boys to a friends house to get them out from under my feet. They are bored with the weather keeping them inside.

We had carpet in the bathroom too! I tore it all out and put in tile! I don't know why anyone would want it in the bathroom!
