Well, I hope you can make it to POOPS. In late April I would say temps in the 70's or 80's with a chance of thunderstorms some possible servere. Or maybe not.
One thing for sure is that it might be windy.
Heck today I could have said bitter cold windy with sunshine and snow flurries and I would have hit the nail on the head at my house.
See I am as good as the weathermen.
I forget, where abouts are you?

Hey y'all

Thought I would post some pics of what we got as far as snow.

Hens who had the guts to go out...:

Carla, I am probably gonna go to Jones if I get around.
Monty

Yes, we're going to the Blanchard auction today because Jack wants me to bring a tom turkey for him and another guy called wanting some of my Welsummer roosters (yea!) so we've got to go there.

Monty, I'll send you a pm about some eggs.

I sure wish the weather were nicer ... I have tons of chicks to sell but I'm worried about them. We'll probably take a few boxes of them, but I think we're going to take mostly hatching eggs and maybe some eating eggs.

Yeah, Daisy has 2 friends now ... another female 11 months old and a handsome future boyfriend 7 months old. Both of those are AKC registered.

They don't look pretty today ... wet and the color of red Oklahoma mud!

Hi everyone! I am back from town, got my new tires and took of my mud/snow tires. Comical since it was snowing when they were taking them off.

I have five babies!! Another that is almost out!!

The wind in town was terrible. I am lucky, live between some hills in a low spot so I don't get as much.

Any place on this board that will tell me how to put a pic in my post?

I wouldn't worry about feeding the medicated chick starter. It only contains the med Amprolium, which is given to prevent Coccidia. It isn't considered an antibiotic, and from what I've read is supposed to be totally safe.

If you're looking for a supplement for chicks & chickens, I recommend Blue Ribbon Poultry Electrolyte Pack. It has lots of micronutrients and microbials. I buy it from American Livestock Co., on the internet, and when I make a purchase over $75 ... shipping is free!!! Here's the link http://www.americanlivestock.com/p-1802-blue-ribbon-poultry-electrolyte-pack.aspx
