Speaking of DE.... I bought a bag of Sweet PDZ at my local Ace Hardware...The dingbat at the counter didn't even know what it was (more importantly, nor did she care)... This might be one of their "never have it again" scenarios. I was jazzed though. Going to use it through the summer....supposed to help with flies....

maybe there's hope for this goofy lookin' little cuss.....LOL

We woke up to find heavy sleet and some snow coming down,
so didn't go to the show here at Tahlequah. That round has
melted, but we're getting a second round of snow now.
But, watching the news from Tulsa and west, we certainly
won't fuss about what we have gotten.

I'll give it to you guys around OKC when it comes to that
wind. I don't know how you handle it. I just knew the
5th wheel was gonna tump over when we were at Shawnee.
We'll stay over here in the hills.

And, did learn something today...not that I wanted to know
how....but, the kids and I can tear a pellet stove apart and
actually got it put back together. Bill still can't bend, lift, etc.,
because of the eye surgery. Somehow, there was an old
rusty 3" screw in the last bag of pellets that we had put in it.
It had made it's way down into the auger and locked it up
bigger than Dallas. So, have a sooty mess to clean up,
but, it's cold out there...............

I hear ya luvs! We are gonna but some sort of wood type flooring through out the house! Still in the way planning stages...except for the bedrooms probably...wife wants the wood but i told her cool more dead things for rugs...and I got one of those looks

so I uncharacteristicly shut-up!

Sooner - Peat moss? really? I figured the acidity would be too much...what are the benefits? No pasty but issues

My friend has wood floors....to clonky and loud.
I want tile... sterile...cold...tile...everywhere.

the thread I was reading said it was great, yada yada. They put it in there and when dirty just dumped it in the garden. I plan to go read everything I can find on it before going all out. Just wondering if anyone else had tried it.

Speaking of pasty but, I have to go clean one of the one's from the feed store.

Mom has the wood floors i dont care for them, ow I have the ceramic tile, I do like them. I am always in house shoes or crochet slippers so the tile dont bother me.

Whats for dinner. I set out a mystery piece of foil out of the freezer, it is either chicken or pork chops. With a baked tater and call it DONE.

Have read that you need to be sure and get the Food Grade DE, also read that it is good for people too, some claim it has cured many things including cancer and other serious deseases. They say use 3-7 teaspoons in a glass of water, juice or whatever you drink. Might be worth checking out, I read about this on a yahoo group called [email protected] , Lynn

woot a feather foot. I have a lone brahama and hubby calls her feather foot, If I had my rathers she would be stew meat, she has decided to lay eggs 1/4 mile away from the coop. I am NOT walking down 1/4 mile for an egg. But hubby likes her. He likes things that are different. You think that is why he likes me.

He just informed me he has a new idea.......... oh gosh what will this entail. It has to do with this "new incubator" He found a glass bowl thing that will hold water for the humidity and will allow me (him since it will be his incubator) to be able to turn with out opening the bator. I gotta take pics of this. UT OH he is giggling.
