update on bird loss due to weather....finally been able to move enough snow to really check everyone...and...I only had two quail cicles!

I am glad I don't live that far away. It is only 12 miles.
I know JimD drove from Tulsa to Maud one night and they didn't have one. He was upset to put it mildly.

Hubby got "his" bator up and running. What to put in there. hummmmmmmmm yep gotta be yard bird specials.

Gosh i can not believe I sat here ALL day , well I did get the eggs cleaned up from the MUCK outside, them will be my eating eggs. I did get the dishwasher loaded. Nope the floors are not clean yet. Dogs, man, and mud.........may wait till the morrow to do them. Laundry of course HAS to wait till the morrow............clothes line them of course. WELL it is my excuse and I AM sticking to it.

Monty, I was napping this afternoon when you were thinking about going to the auction. I was wondering if they would have the auction, with the roads being somewhat uncertain. Guess we will have to wait and find out from Carla how the auction in Blanchard went.

For future reference, here are the phone numbers for the Jones auction - yeah, it is sad, but they are in my cellphone. auction barn 405-399-2999 and the cell phone for the auctioneer is 405-390-3624. I know they work because I have called to tell them I would be picking up cows the following day after their Thursday night auction.

Luvs - You go girl! (think me shaking my head and wagin' a finger!) You don't need to do all that...take it easy and have a dew! I know about the cold! today is beautiful...well kinda...way bright!

We are having beef burgandy tonight...make that blackbuck burgandy! We so rarely eat beef it is funny! Time to make the rice...well time to get the wife to make the rice. I have some things i do well and other things...well it is best I don't do them...burned rice everytime I have made it...think ADD...can't pay attention long enough

can't iron either...mom tried to teach me several times...details...I am not good with them

yummy sounds good................if it wasnt to far i do go for what ya are eating. Found out(looked in the foil) it is pork tenderloin (hubbys fav) So gonna cant decide.................either fry them up or bake them. For sure will be baked taters.

I didn't get much done today...well nothing really. I was *going* to do some laundry and clean the kitchen, but forgot we had another movie rented that we needed to watch....The Happening, by M. Night Shamaylan or however you spell his name.....kind of a strange movie if you ask me. Guess the chores will have to wait until tomorrow...I'm such a procrastinator!

Dinner? Well, I thought I'd treat my family to a real gourmet meal....so I went out and purchased some McD's!! I'm thinking I really need to sit down and make up a menu for some real home cooked meals this next month...we've eaten out and had fast food WAY too much this month.

Well, I'm gonna go out and check on the hens and ducks before it gets too dark.
