but Cuban...sparrows swing two miles around my house! Just think what they would do for your coyote problem...they are messy...stupid shovels all over the yard...and hammers....and broken targets...
I am breeding...shamos (couple pens)...aseels (one pen)...malays (couple pens)...other games (several pens
)...pen of EE bantams (need more)...pen of little bantam type games kinda hard to describe but they will be cool (will see if they will show as bantam american games)...and then the yard flock that will occasionaly be hatched for laying hens and cool colors! And then pigeons...pouters...cappuchines...modenas...german modenas..italian owls...frill backs...lahores...homers...german field...trumpeter...indian fantail...arc pigeons...and maybe a goofy big bird thing but doubtful on this one. Of course I also have rabbit and guinea pig projects going on and I had a request to get into the mouse or rat business again but I don't know...
My quail have done fine with the cold so far, but I think if it snows I will be outside pitching them all inside their shed and shutting the doors. At least the chickens are all bright enough to go inside and roost.
i have a few questions about it , is it an open show ? , sign up ? etc.... i was hoping to be able to show some of these birds sometime to see how they do

Just call or email Kenny & have a catalog sent to you & you will have all the info you will need. We plan to show there again this year. I believe last year it was an open show but also had a kids show. We had a great time. There will be a deadline to enter I just don't rememmber when itis.
Been a long day but it was nice outside so we moved some chickens around. We are going to Harrah tomorrow and will be taking a few young BLRW and I think a pair of Columbian Wyandottes as well as some other things.
This spring Jason and I are planning on moving the coop some where here in the middle..(the fence on the right is where we split our back pasture in half)
The easement is 30'ft wide and runs along our whole property on the North East side(left side of the picture)
I wanna know if you all think we should just fence along the 30' easement to make one large run around the prospective area or should we not worry about a run at all and just move the coop back there and let them pasture raise... and figure they will stick to the back pasture because that is where they will be fed and housed... What do you all think? to RUN or NOT TO RUN..
