I am glad you still have him and that he is doing well.
I like the dark better as well but not sure how that is for the showing standard.
His sire's feet are totally covered in feathers.

Sooner,
They is purdy allright! Especially the first mutt hen.
I'd take a flock of those and call them Sooner specials.

Sooner - I'm not raising Salmon Faverolles any more. I had a buyer fall in love with my nicest roo and his harem, so I ended up selling. I did keep a few hens, but they've been sold off here and there. I have one hen left, and she's a good layer in warm weather. She is usually kept with younger birds, though, because she gets bullied by those her own age. If she were with other Salmon Faverolels, she's be happier.

If you're getting out of Polish, I'd love to trade the SF hen. I have two absolutely gorgeous blue/splash Polish cockerels. I've kept them hoping to find a nice Polish girl or two in the spring.

We can look at doing that. Have to make sure that Maddie is okay with it.

I'm sure you posted on your SF but I either missed it or just forgot. I was doing some reading on them yesterday. Long boring days get me in trouble.
