Yes I did. Just wish I could have stayed longer. It was nice to see the ones that are here on BYC but didn't get to visit much. The wife stayed in the truck and didn't feel like getting out.

For Donnie and the others interested in the Sussex breed!!! Lynn

Amazing week. My EEs are laying little pullet eggs. Most are almost neon green. I love the color. The Pekins seemed bored so I moved them in with a Barred Rock pair. The hens spend a lot of time together. I need to take my camera out tomorrow (if it's still light when I get home) and get some pictures of their best-girlfriend activities: sunbathing, sharing a snack, talking about the boys, etc. It's odd to listen to cackles and quacks and then see what looks like cooperation. Maybe they're using sign language.

Vesta has had her second round of puppy shots. She's grown to over 20 lbs. The vet is pleased with her progress. She's doing well with the chickens, but I haven't been successful in introducing her to the ducks or guineas without a major freaking out session. We'll have some play time and nap time outside the pens next week to reassure the birds that Vesta isn't a polar bear cub.

Sooner,
Do you want Bantam SF or LF SF? I saw Bantams at the Shawnee show and

Rebecca (Muesky) really wants some too.
Are those chicks with your LF Partridge Cochin partridge chicks? My Bantams just hatched and they are "chipmunk" colored.

Ok, so supposedly it will take me 4 hrs to get to Fletcher if I take the shorter route through Atoka, Ada, Pauls Valley, etc... basically hwy 19 to I-44 and hang left to Fletcher. Any one think that's about right?
