How many eggs you got in Sonya?

I went to the Toad suck bar in Aizona in my younger days. Drank something called a mule kick. Talk about young & dumb.

I want to keep the weather today!!! It was so nice. Son ran in a track meet and is really sunburned on his arms. He has the farmers tan going on.

Gotta go to bed just cause you got to get up at 4:30?? Pee-shaw! I get up at 6am and regularly find myself not falling to sleep until after 2am....not out of choice though...insomnia.

Sooner, I've got 6 welsummer eggs in and 6 Pekin duck eggs...Of the 6 welsummer eggs, I really think after candling them last night that I'll be lucky if two hatch...the others are clear or quitters...

Of my duck eggs, due next week, 5 of them have swimmers squirming about....one of which was a refrigerated egg.

but back in College Station there was a bar (the Dry bean) that served shots...there was a whole lone of fart shots...duck, gorilla, etc...I mean my friend took part in all of them one night...at that point figgured it would be good to chase those with the airplane shots B-52 etc...that was a bad idea...from what I was told

I'm sitting on my hands when it comes to my bator....I'm not going to expect anything, so I won't be disappointed...LOL.

Good morning everyone...kids are up fussing with each other....it's another great day in Oklahoma.

My allergies are killing me this morning...eyes are itchy and watery, ugh. It doesn't help that they don't want to stay open this morning either.

Kids are out of school tomorrow for Good Friday, so at least I can sleep an hour later tomorrow......wooooo hoooooo.

Will Haves: not quite 8 week old pullets - 4 australorps, 4 buff orps, 3or4 ameraucanas (which have dibbs on them, but if she changes her mind), and three mystery chicks. Also 5-6 week old pullet - 1 light brahma. And maybe some cornishxrocks about 4 weeks old....


In the TSC tracking thread over in one of the other forums someone brought up two cases of avian flu in texas last year as being the cause for concern since TSC gets their stock from Ideal. I think a few people mentioned it, saying it was over and dealt with before the news caught wind of it. In reality if its true I'm sure some money changed hands.

Good Morning.........

Thanks everyone for the support.

I have had a few issues with the incubator and was afraid that I had goofed up but seems to be doing ok. There was another 9 this morning and I think the rest will hatch today.
