Hi everyone. Treading water today and trying to get errands and housework done. I have family from TX and CA coming tomorrow and the inside of my house is a pit because I've been spending ALL my time outside putting in new garden beds and getting the clucks set up.

Took a look at Monarc's page. He had some good pics to help me sex my quail. It is easy to tell when he has them side by side. I am going to build my breeding pens this week. I think I am going to go 2'x2'x8" If they have more room maybe I will not have too many issues with fighting. Do I need nest boxes in the breeding pens?

I hope everyone has a great day. I was glad to see the rain this weekend. Maybe we won't have any bad fires for a while now. When we know what that family that lost their home needs maybe we can get a list going here. I would pitch in.

If you build, they will fill it! I would contribute couple hundred quail each week! But I don't wanna be the wierd sidekick...batman and Robin kinda gave me the creeps...running around in tights and such...I do like the idea of the cape...like Zorro! Gotta have a sword!
