I was going to post a pic of our new run/coop.... but after seeing recent posts.... I think I've changed my mind

I wish we didn't have to use free stuff.... Buying plywood and some 2x4s was hard enough to part with $60. I would love to do something better. I am jealous.

Morning all

Oh ocean do not be ashamed of your coop. I love all them fancy ones but heck so long as the birds have a safe warm dry place to roost and lay eggs is what matters.

Sold 7 hens 1 rooster and 4 chicks yesterday. I gave the lady the site here and asked her to post here and meet all of you. I invited her to POOPS but they will be in Tulsa for that weekend.

Went out to dinner last night with a friend went to henry hudsons and had a burger. Got a killer headache from drinking drough beer.

Only thing I have in the garden is onions and taters. Every time I want to plant seeds its to wet. Maybe this week I can get the rest planted.

I am right there with you both. We have done this for as long as i can remember. It may not be the prettiest but it was cheap and worked well.

Luvs - I was curious about your signature line that says you are a member of the Sir Opa/Sam fan club, so I Googled "Sir Opa fan club" and got a citation back to BYC. So is Sir Opa a BYC member who lives in Europe?

Good Morning, all................

Rain???....WOW We got 3" out here north of town, but they
say Tahlequah proper got over 6" and they were rescuing
people and had water in lots of buildings in town. For whatever
reason, the main drag runs north and south between two
hills..................

OK, Pa-Pa has a question... this Jones Auction next Saturday
night? Are some of you going to the auction after POOPS?
Any birds, eggs, etc. that are left over after the swap/auction,
are you taking to the auction? Where is the auction from
the campground?
