LOL, I use one of the many rocks that we "grow" that is about 2" thick! They do fine with it that way. They are doing great out there, I was worried with all the rain we got! Today is still really cool but that are doing fine.

Here are my babies out of my own hens, they got a couple of worms today, it was so fun to watch them.

Uninvited critters - Oh, we keep the live-trap smokin' this time
of year. We have 1/4 mile of "14-Mile Creek" comes across
our place right behind the house. Pa-Pa keeps a hot-wire
around the chicken pens and the last coon he brought to the
house in the live trap, (he dropped her in the live trap to show
me), had gotten into the hot wire, evidentally, because
she was on top of the flight pen and wouldn't come back down
to the ground. She was "buzzed" to the point that he just
picked her up in his dip net and dropped her into the trap.

We have the oppossums, raccoons, and skunks, and are on
constant watch for the brown rat snakes in our chicken nests.

Here in "Toolieville", we have all this "stuff".....but, we'll stay
right "out" here where we are..............

Ahhhhhhh........life at the farm............LOL

best bait ive used was peanutbutter.the coons will go crazy.i trapped 5 coons at my neighbors an they have about 15 cats an i never caught 1 of them.had a coon everynite for 5 nites.honey bunns work good along with little bama pecan pies

hi guys- got to looking at my chicks, these were from the pullet bin at tsc...production reds or??? the reason i ask is look at this ones legs...

i wish tsc would be more specific....

Hey Okes...supp? Life is treacherous. My mom was on the mend and in the middle of the night she went bats--t, got up ripped out her IV and started roaming the halls, going into other peoples rooms and messing with the hallway computers. She doesn't talk straight and hallucinates and tells really bizarre stories. She has really gone over the edge. I wonder if she didn't have a stroke... Mike thinks its her pain patch...she has done this before but the last few weeks have been tough....Sometimes I just leave the room and cry. She doesn't remember our old jokes....I really love her and I feel like she's gone. I will know more tomorrow since her doc will be back.....

God's grace is sufficient...made perfect in my weakness...Lace boots up tighter and keep trudging.

Not so great, spent 4am to 1pm working at walmart and it was fairly busy. My helper is on vacation to see his son in Central Ark (first year of college). The other "helper" I had we call fruit loop if that tells you anything.
