Thanks for the link first... I DO NOT like that side shot at all... What do I have three chins ? Gee...
2 nd AnnaBell would love the Polish AND cochins... They are the two types in the flock that everyone LOVE... The silkie now after poops are wonderful.
I need to go take some pics of what we have here...

Hey Teach... in that last picture...what's in that red can? I am so glad you guys made it home OK....I was praying for ya. You have the best boys! They are so funny....I was so impressed with all the kids there....I noticed Teach your boys shook hands with some other boys they met and I thought that was so upright! Tj and Kendra were awesome as well... I was gonna try to fit Kendra in my suitcase....but she is just so tall.... I didn't think that would be comfortable for her. And Ananbelle (not sure about the spelling) what a cutie....and Greybear's daughter... she was really talking to me during the raffle....we did have great kids there... That was because they have great parents. I was looking at all the pics this morning and it made me miss all you guys...... and it was so beautiful there...it was the perfect place for me to come and rest and get ready to get back in the fray.....POOPS people rock. I hope we have one in the fall so you guys find out I really can cook!!!

Don you sure hit the nail on the head, all about family & new found friends. I have to say the young BYCer's at POOPS were a very special treat all so polite and well behaved and full of grins & giggles. A special thanks to those youngun's I remember, Kendra everybody's little angel what a fantastic young woman, TJ, Bubba & his side kick little okies in the making, Shaun & Jared and Marybeths little grand tike was a cutie. and to all of the others that prompted the managers at KOA to say they were the best group of children and welcomed them back

First, Thanks to all for posting these beautiful pictures. Have
been sitting here moving them over to my pictures file so I can
make a CD copy of all of them.

And, even though a couple of them were from our campsite.....
I'll have to chime in about the group of "POOPS kids".....
When even the folks that are running the KOA comment about
the "polite, mannerly, respectful young people in your group"....
we have some "non-feathered critters" to Crow About !!!!!

Oh, both of ours wore their POOPS shirts to school today.....LOL
TJ claims they are "really" studying turtles and took that
turtle with him.... Am sure he'll be taking the new rabbit his
next turn at show-and-tell. Imagine Jackson will be taking his
baby duckies soon........if he hasn't already talked Pa-Pa into
doing it today......LOL If any of you had taken Kendra home
with you....you'd have had to make room for two. She's still
talking about Jackson.........LOL Each year they have called
on her to bring in some gourds and do a talk/demonstration
about gourds and their uses for the kindegarten and 1st
grade classes. She may very well end up being a kindegarten
teacher.

Again, thanks to all for making it sooooo easy to "get on up
in there" (like Teach's boy says...LOL). Am sure in years to
come when we're not able, when there's a POOPS....these
kids will load us up and bring us with them .........LOL

Have a good one !

So did the KOA say we could come back? I was wondering if they gave us any feedback that would help with the next one.

I'll bet Stimpy hasn't posted because he's having to re-apply for the Witness Protection program now that we all saw him in person...

(thanks for the nice comments, Al - I've tried to turn off my face but it doesn't work - and I was SO HAPPY to be there with all of you!)

The kids were a great group. Jared about broke me riding the go carts though. He had a blast and was smooth worn out both Friday night and Saturday night.
I need jared to hang around Big Okie and Teach's sons and the other young chicken hagglers so maybe some of that will rub off on him.
Teach, thanks for putting us in the quail biz. I will have questions.
The first one is how in the world did I let Jared talk me into this.
You were using that Jedi Mind manipulation on him weren't you. If he had been a real haggler he coulda talked you out of that other rare living thing you had.
I don't what me laugh more, Stimpy's stories or watching you laugh at Stimpy's stories.
Stimp, thanks for the laughs I hope you are feeling OK.

Everyone but that tall smiley blonde. They said KOA wasn't no danged place for Miss Congeniality.

Hey, Thanks again for all the help, and my band aid came off. What do I do?
Seriously though I think they KOA will let us come back. They had a lot of nice things to say.
There were a few minor things I had to wrap up last night but all seemed good when I left.
Is there any way to tell from your name tag list about how many were there?
I know we were right at 80 but just trying to get as close a count as we can.
Monty

Quick question. In the picture of Beth and Beth in the morning, sounds kinda like a morning radio team huh?
Anyway, the boy in the red shirt in the backround is my son Jared. Does anyone know who the little girl is that is riding with him? He had a blast hauling the little ones around.
