That reminds me of one of the mechanics I worked with at Tinker. He told me he had a drug dog ... well ... sort of ... it was a crack sniffing dog!

Well, if that's the case, my german shepherd and my great pyrenees are drug dogs!

Wow, if that's the case, I've got 4 drug dogs and 5 different models of cat scanners!

The top of the line model is a European, Scottish Fold version, and is my current avatar.

You should see my yard. I have a rooster that could teach ol' Phelps a thing or two about the backstroke, and my hens have their synchronized swimming routine down pat. I'm about ready to take this show on the road.

Dividers of any type would work, be it wire or something else. Wire is better because it tends to not disrupt the airflow in your incubator. You could also try hatching them in small mesh bags. Place the egg or eggs in one and that keeps the chicks contained until you can band them.

Cuban and Greybear--thank you so much for the info and ideas. I knew I needed to talk to folks that's been down this road before. I just can't tell very many chicks apart yet and I didn't have a clue how to keep them seperated.

I am probably crazy for setting so many eggs at once. But it really couldn't be helped. We stopped at the Jones auction on the way home from POOPS and I bought too many eggs. They were just too cheap to not buy them.

Is there anything special I need to do to pheasant eggs? Do I just treat them like chicken eggs?

Thanks,

Roy, I was gonna give you the "history" on that sweet little BTW Japanese pair you got. They are originally from my birds (well, me and Tara traded back-and-forth a bit :lol). But, if you would like to see pictures of their parents I have them posted on my website here.

Donna, Are you just wanting to tell the different breeds apart? Are they all pure breed? Well, with all the breed characteristics there are, that shouldn't be at all hard to do

Once they hatch and you get to look over them, if you still cannot tell just post pictures of them for us to give our opinion on!
