I need to go feed critters - will be back in awhile - I think I need to wear the knee high mud boots to go into my flight pen - and hang on to the chain link fence sides while walking through the mud to the feeder, or I will slip and fall for sure.

It is "I don't wanna cook" night here also - I told the guys to go out if they wanted something other than leftover homemade chicken soup. Guess they will be back after awhile.

1.) Yes, of course they can walk and play at the same time. Go watch Drumline. We also march as a whole band during football season, granted it takes months to get down pat. Jazz Bands tend to have interesting instruments so they wouldn;t be able to march. But parade marching is something all bands should know how to do.

2.) It should be fine as long as they know how to play it. It's also great fun to listen to.

Lynn, the mental image that brings, trying to walk on trash can lids without hurting myself as I put the next foot forward - is making me laugh. I wonder if duct tape would hold them on the bottom of my foot - if I went round and round the lid like a Christmas package being tied with ribbon.

I swear I get here when everyone leaves. Guess that is what I get for visiting with the family! Everyone is making plans for the night. Thanks for posting the pic's Lynn!! I know others had camera's that haven't posted.......what keepin ya'll?????

I am about tired of the rain. TJ's Nana, is the ARK river flooding yet?? I was reading last night that it was going to hit flood stage sometime over night.

Also when you say meat sale, how good are we talking and how long does it last??? (I'm out of town).

Be careful P&B - don't fall in the mud!

A 50 to 1 longshot just won the Kentucky Derby. I like it when that happens. The jockey has an accent from some Britishy country. He is cute (but too short for me...ha!).

Hi Sooner!

Yes - whatever that means! They say the horse was bought for $9,500 and was brought from New Mexico in a regular horse trailer pulled by a pickup truck - I guess instead of a fancy tractor rig.

I did see a comic clip one time where they were trying to walk on water with big pieces of strofoam, Iwould imagin the mudshoes would be about the samr, I could come and videotpe it if you will share the money on winning the AMFHV show, LOL ...... LOL ... HAHAH>>>> ROFLMBO Lynn

Thanks for the info Stray! I have seen Drumline - but didn't know how much of that was "Hollywood" or collegiate level stuff...like I mentioned, I know less than nothing about bands...except that there's a lot of spit involved in playing trombone...
