sorry I am here, my little girl is sick and mom put food on the table, I have to be faster than the teenage boys! Pot Roast was gooood.

We will be leaving to head home soon so I will have to load the truck an get my chickens.....hope beth comes back to tell me how to keep these eggs warm! Right now I have them in an ice chest with warm towels.....don't know if it willl work but I'm trying.

So when is Southwest City's sale??
Afton will have a swap 2 weekends in a row. It's normal 3rd weekend of the month and then memorial weekend.
I may try to fiind out about Leach Ok sale. but the last time I was down that way the sale barn had a bad smell to it. I am not talking stinky smell I am talking sick animal smell, but that was several years ago things could've changed.

I think we are going to head to Sonic for ice cream!!

Carah have a safe trip home, and don't have too much fun cleaning up wet chicken ick!!

Are there any sales closer to NW OK? I'm looking at close to a 3 hour drive on some of the sales. Doubt my husband would go for that and not sure at this stage of the game that I can make that long of a trip on my own. I am looking for Marans and pretty much any other nice laying breed. The more rare the better. I love my bantams too. I have some japs and Silkies too. I bought naked neck and jersey giant eggs from Carla. I'll pen my breeders up separately once they get to the right size, right now they run together.

Tons of pages added sense last nite and today. How is everyone, I woke it up and it was raining (big shocker). But when I got off at 1, it was over with (yay me) and im hoping it drys out enough for me to move some younger chicks out of the shop into a growing pen. I didnt want there first outside experiences to be in the lake. Cant wait to move them out of the shop, so I can put more in about 2 weeks

Id love to make an auction with you nutters, anyone know the distance from Tahlequah to whatever one yuns meat at?

Hi, Ronnie - I just got online about 15 minutes ago and caught up on the posts - you and I may be the only ones on here at this moment.

Next Saturday night is the Jones auction - which is about 15 minutes due North of where we had the POOPS gathering last weekend. How long would it have taken you to get to POOPS, by coming down I40?

The weekend after that, May 16 is the exotic animal auction in Prague and they start at 10:00 in the morning. They generally have "some"poultry.

I gotta run and feed chicka's in a minute and ask the wife to help me move a pen to some fresh grass. Wonder how thats gonna go over.I just looked at hte window and got a trio of bantams on the porch, wife always loves the little prizes they live there lol.
