The weather map shows the rain is to the NE of us. Hubby is getting his lawnmower out - he won't be able to mow the ditches, but maybe he can knock down some of the grass in the higher spots.
According to Weatherbug, the humidity is 83%. I am going to need a headband just to walk across the street.

Morning all :

Well the Cornish road trip was a nice mid week adventure, it was good seeing Bill & Charley again and we had a good time. We ran into some road blocks during the chicken deal and I was appointed the group negociater I came at the ole boy pretty hard so we were happy in the end. Bill pick up some great show prospects, and Charley & I got some great looking birds also, Mind you these Cornish are from the best current lines in the country. We had dinner in Stillwater at an Italian resturant which was a blast, Bill relented and I had to order for him LOL he tried Calamari for the first time. Here is a look at the three Musketeers.

We're a fine bunch, huh? A week ago, we were griping because it was raining. Now it's quit raining and we're unhappy with the humidity. Next, we'll be griping about how dry it is and praying for rain. We're just never happy with the weather in Oklahoma.

Morning everyOkie!! It's raining again in Tulsa - but hey - almost 18 hours without a drop...that was good.

Kellysfarm - welcome to our Okie thread.

Bigokie - heard on the radio this morning that you are going to get it big this morning (weather-wise). I think my radio actually said "watch out Chuck - the storm is headed your way at 65mph!"

Stimpy - I'm sad we keep missing each other!

I was out early this a.m. wrapping chicken wire around the new chain link cluck run panels Jack and I added to expand the run. Finished right as the rain came in. Expanded from 180 sq ft to 260 sq ft! Now the clucks have more room (and I have room for more clucks...hee hee!).

Hi Tina - sorry the thought of your b-day is getting you down. But, you are NOT old in any sense of the word...I know because I've met you. You are smart, beautiful, funny, fun, kind, capable, hard-working and thoughtful. Like they say, age is just a number. (They also say 40 is the new 20 and 50 is the new 30...!)

What? No pie report? And is that a casino behind you? Looks like your adventure was a success. Glad everyone is home safely!

Now, don't go knocking mountain oysters. They are a favorite of ours. If it weren't so much trouble to bread them and get the fryer going, I would fix them more often. I definately don't want to fry them inside because we never cook them in a small batch.

I'm more of a lamb fries gal, myself.
