Has anyone heard of a guy named Duncan from Wister ,Ok? He has some golden and silver campine bantam eggs on eggbid. I e-mailed to see if he has chicks but haven't heard from hiom. The pics of the campines were awesome. Would be a great rare breed to have. Anyone from that area?

Henny if you already have an account with Pay Pal you can add your checking account to it that way it will be a verified account.

As you know you will get spam from people trying to say that your acct. has been compromised and you need to verify info but don't do it. If paypal contacts you they will call you by name, not dear customer or dear paypal user. Some of those e-mails look really official too. If in doubt check into your acct. they will also post the message there. Never click on a link in an e-mail.

We have had a verified acct for over ten years with no problems. Now though it will take four days for someone to recieve payment from your checking acct. unless you buy something off Ebay and then it is still instant. Credit cards are still instant payments too.

I have my PayPal account linked to my checking account and after many transactions over the past 7-8 years have never had a problem.
The advice given by nnbreeder is good advice. If PayPal wants to contact you, they will leave you a message on your account page and send you an email by name. I would log in directly to the PayPal account rather than clicking a link that says it is to PayPal if I am ever contacted by email.
Having my PayPal account linked to my checking acct so that I can pay from it directly is, in my opinion, so much safer than giving my credit card information yet again to someone on line when I am purchasing something.

3.) I can't say no to the face of a chick.

What does this mean?
Not a darned thing at this time of night.... Except of course that Coffee IS truely my best friend right now...

Naw.... I'm just up because my sisters where here for mothers day and I'm still Giddy from them being here, since I only see one out of three of them on a regular basis.

On the subject of PayPal, here's what I do:
Since checking accts are free at just about every bank, I opened a 2nd checking account just for paypal. I can go online and transfer enough money into the 2nd account to cover any purchases thru ebay or whatever. That way, should someone be able to hack my paypay account, they can only get whatever small amount might be in there. They can't access my main account. That's just what I do.

Actually, my son stayed up all night cooking and smoking meat for a mother's day meal. He made sure that his mother and his wife were well taken care of. And I have it on very good authority (her) that I was very generous with my gift giving this year. I just checked my balance and it turns out that i was EXTREMELY generous.
