OK, I know we have enough Spitz, but not sure if we could come up with a dozen Fayoumi - I'll have to check with Gerald ... he is THE EGG MAN!

Hey Carla I might know of a good buy on a trailer. It's a 16x5? gooseneck stock trailer with a full metal top and solid sides, would be easy to close in to use for storage. All the lights work and the bearings have been packed, it has two 3500lb axles which would be fine for what you would want it for and the boss has had it a while so he is itching to move it. No GN ball? No problem I can install one of those for you too and it won't be one of those ugly plates they put in. If I could do it on a weekend I would give you a very special price too, parts plus a few birds maybe for the labor.

Not looking for any special breed just one that can be fed out till mid december and be yummy. I am going as homemade and homegrown as possible for holiday meals this year. Sorry if this offends anyone but around here it is the way things are, ask my 5 year old what he is having for thanksgovonmg he will tell you that turkey in our chicken pen yum yum.

We're really looking for something that's more in the line of a construction trailer or a shed with at least a window for ventilation and possible heat & air. I know of someone looking for a stock trailer though, so let me know what he's asking. Are ya'll going to the Jones auction? We intend to be there, but first we have to drop off some chicks & turkeys at the Blanchard auction on our way out.

It is usually around the 9th of December... it's a Saturday and Sunday.
We should definitely meet up again there, this year

The Shawnee show is actually the 13th and 14th, I checked the website of where it is held. I was hoping it'd be the first weekend again.

So did anyone make it to an auction today? I always love hearing what birds everyone comes home with.

nnbreeder, I didn't know the GSA had auctions! What goodies have you found there??

Had to edit to tell you, I'm looking at all the trucks listed on their website. They're all mint green.

Well lets see from GSA we got some extra-deep sinks that they called mop sinks which will go in the laundry room, some flooring for military tents and just some assorted items. From Govliquidation our biggest purchase was a '90 Dodge Dakota with 65,000 miles on it runs like a top too. Some parts containers that I've turned into cages, tarps, cammo support kits with stout aluminum poles and a shipping crate for military guard dogs. It's big enough to haul two big goats with plenty of room and is all aluminum to prevent rotting.

On GSA in Colorado last week there were 175 cords of Pinion cut into four foot lengths and about a five inch diameter, or roughly 25 semi-truck loads. A cord of wood measures 4'x4'x8' so could you imagine the profit if sold at 7/11 for about 10 bucks for five or so sticks?

I went met up with Lisa and Carla and Gerold. Picked up 3 doz eggs from them 18 turkens and 18 JG's eggs. Also bought 2 ring necked doves, A pair of Austroplos, A silver laced they said Wyndotte roo but if I remember right it has feather legs and looks to be a cochin, and 2 black standard cochin roos. 2 mutt roos,

I said I couldnt buy anything since I didnt being any cages, Well Lisa came to my rescue, sorta, she said dont worry I have some cages here and you can borrow them, well ok let the buying commence, Guess what, her cages went home and I have all these birds to get home. Lisa put them in the back of her blazer for me and caged them last night and will bring them to me this morning. It was fun. I will go again, the birds there were mainly roos and a bit old. The OEG's went for a pretty good price for the seller. Now that I know how it goes, I will take some birds there the next one.

If I would have had a pen and a way to carry them i would have gotten me a few piggy's
