Go to www.koa.com and type in 73135 as the zip code. It will pull up the KOAs within a 100 mile radius of OKC. The one we are planning to use is listed as OKC East and is just South of Choctaw on I40

We are back...I will be calling to set up a campsite or something at the swap

We didn't do so well at the show...they did clap for the boy as he walked out of the ring with the rest of the kids that worked hard fot 5 min. in the ring.

I shipped some chicks and even though they made it in 24hrs they all died! I am bumed.

Welcome to all the new folks!!! I would try and list the names but dang I read like 6 pages!!

POOPS is a meet, greet, and eat for Okies in the BYC and their friends and family. It will be April 25 at the KOA campgrounds just East of OKC. The goal is to put a face with the folks we talk to all the time, maybe trade/sell a few birds/eggs and generally have a good time. It is the same weekend as the Jones and Blanchard auctions, so some folks will leave about 3:00 and go to an auction. Some folks will be coming from several hours away, so will either rent a cabin or bring their tent/RV and spend the night.

The goal is to have fun and talk and eat and talk and eat and have fun.

no we were not smoking tumbleweeds either! The big kids were being positive roll models to the little kids!!! Plus I like kites!

We ate at K-Bobs for supper...I would have prefered to eat at home...

Was someone looking for Brahmas a while back? If you are looking for bantam we got 'em...no eggs at the moment but hopefully they will get that issue fixed soon! I still need buff hens!!!

NE Oklahoma Poultry Show update , show is set for this Saturday at Pryor ,Ok. 57 exhibitors from 5 states will be on hand with 623 birds to show. The largest class is the OEG with 260 head. Hope to see some of you there.
