If you want the t-shirt(s) before POOPS, you can order them directly from Victory Lane Screen Printing. Their phone is (580) 924-3556. They do ship orders.

Thanks,
Sherri

Yea my hubby was that way at first. Then they started hatching and now it is a fight to see who goes and checks on the chicks 1st. Mind you I have a sportsman that if done right will hold 21 doz eggs and then the small brower that holds about 36 eggs. He went out and got the other larger brower yesterday and is setting it up. Like 24 doz eggs is not enough. Every 25 days or so. I think he is bitten by the hatching bug now.

OH that is funny! How do you handle the stress???

My first baby just made it out, little thing is flopping all over in there. I hope he settles down, or all my eggs will be rolled the wrong way.....wonder if it matters?

Yea to funny, Oh well he keeps building the brooders I keep hatching the chicks. On that note also, he will have to build me more pens. Oh something he said yesterday, he is deciding on a pen for the Jersey Giants now. He said, he wants to make sure they are pure blood. Then I want to get the EE's separated and then the rest will be the eating eggs. So that means 5 separate pens, with 5 separate waters to fill, 5 separate feeders to fill. Oh joy.

Not much stress anymore. Oh gosh it was on the 1st couple of hatches. Just as soon as this hatch is over Monty and I are starting another one so we can have day olds or close to it for POOPS. I will only have time to get it cleaned up and then start again.

Good morning all : only on my first cup of Joe, and just a dusting of snow is all we are going to get. The power looks like it stayed on, no blinking clocks.

Ok you two, this chick just keeps flopping around, hitting all the other eggs. I had planned to leave it in there until it was dry but it is moving all the other eggs, will this hurt the others that have pipped or should I get him out of there??????

Nervous wreck here!

Good morning all, just popping on before my son wakes up everything starts in earnest...

Robber's Cave is great. I take my boy there a lot, we were there just last week too--he loves to climb the rocks. He also loves to hold the snakes and stuff in the Nature Center. Me, not so much...

Sonya, was it Lorene? My husband is pastor at High Bridge so yes, I go to church there. Guess it'd be kind of weird otherwise.

And I guess I'm originally from CA too--all of 22 months before my mom decided nope, no way, she was NOT going to raise a family out there and we all came back to Oklahoma. I've been here ever since, except for college in Dallas but even then was home every weekend I could be and summers. So I don't really consider myself a Californian. It takes more than a word on a birth certificate, you know?

OK, break time is over. I hear cartoons. Yuck. My son has no taste.

Luvs that is my plan too on the pens, I want to have true breeds, if you saw my earlier post I have several different ones coming, was planning to go to Lowes this morning for some building supplies but now not so sure I will make it with the hatch starting.

So far I have never been lucky enough to get a roo to go with my hens. I have some cute feather footed one with part. color (can't think of what they are) that I would love to have a roo for.

I can't figure out how to put a pic up here either......I have them on my page.

Sooner I would say if you have the brooder ready and it is warmed up and the little guy can dry off in there I would hurry up and move it. Really it will make you more comfy. I have been known to move them right away. Remember open grab chick and close real quick. now some will bawk at me for suggesting it. I open my bator all the time when hatching but do it very very quickly and I dont have any problem with the humidity lowering to much.
