Good morning everyone. I am gonna get a job as a weatherman.
Since I am wrong most of the time anyway I might as well get paid for it.
They covered their hineys pretty good by saying a trace to eight inches here. We got the trace, which is gone now.
I figured if it was gonna snow I wanted enough to cover the ground at least.
They were right about the cold though.

I too was a little disappointed with just the dusting that we got, I was expecting a little more than that.

I am thinking I will not be preaching tomorrow. Supposed to go down to Goodwell but kinda doubting the little ol' ladies will be making it our and considering I have already been stuck...I will wait until this evening to call down there...the lay leader down there is a professor I had when I had gone back for the eduction degree

Well I am pretty sure they are not RIR's

maybe they could have been sex links with dellies. If I remember right they were the "buff" color when hatched. Gosh that was over 6 weeks ago, I can barley remember yesterday.

I don't know about you guy's but sometimes with this weather I sometimes wish I made a different choice of states to live in. It is just this whole wind thing, it just really rubs me the wrong way, just so much EVERY SINGLE DANG DAY!!!!!!. Jimminey christmas I am just really fed up with it, my DW always says quit your b------n. anybody ever feel the same way or am I the only one.

My hubby will be outside holding on to the fence post trying not to blow away. And then he will say.............Insert dirty word............I wish the wind would blow more.

I have to tie off to go outside.

I don't know... I think we'll have to wait until they get their adult feathers to tell if they are truly RIRs!

Don't you love surprises?

I know, some folks that live in town don't really have a problem when it's 25mph, but for those of us in the country, it's brutal. Limited tree growth, baron moon scaped pastures, dust storms. I woke up in a foul mood I think, I had planned to some things today and as usual the darn wind will prevent me from getting to any of it.

Oh I just love surprises. Most of my hatches are a surprise anyway, who's your daddy!!!!!!!!!

One of the problems with these chicks I didnt want any white chickens due to hawks and owls. But I do have 2 dellies, I am thinking of "throwing" them into the "red" pen. Oh well, will wait and see.
