Grace, I wanted to let you know I had one blue EE chick hatch yesterday from your roo. It's beardless like daddy. It's so cute (and blue). I was doing a fertility test just to see what happened.

I got all of the t-shirts ordered today. I'll be bringing them to POOPS. Thanks to all of you who sent money for their shirts. I spoke with the screen printer and it will be no problem for me to collect the money and pay for them later. If anyone one else wants a shirt, you can let me know before hand and I'll get it ordered or I'll give the number for you to place your order directly. Eulaine, don't worry. If I get the check before POOPS, great but otherwise it's not a problem. You gotta love the Post Office. (I hope there are no Postal workers here.)

And speaking of hope, is Choctaw KOA okay?

I was in McAlester earlier and got hailed on & saw rotating clouds. While driving back to Durant we stopped at a fruit stand and was told all the smoke we were seeing was from fires around I-35. (That's a long ways away!) Hopefully, everyone is okay.

I solved the crime. Teach came down and started all these fires. I know that he really didn't, but that's the story I'm tellin' the sheriff anyway.

I'm also reporting Henny for starting the tornadoes.

And if you'll look very carefully at the pictures Sonya posted you'll see two things: 1) that is some pretty big hail, and b) Sonya has tiny feet.

I talked to him on the phone last night and he said they were ok, but if the wind shifted they might get hit, and the wind did shift. He might have lost power. He did say they were having issues with the electric last night. Maybe he will be on soon or at least call me.

Hope everyone else is alright as well - didn't we just have this discussion about the joys of Oklahoma weather a few weeks ago? When it was in the 70's one day and dumping freezing stuff two days later?

Grey Bear - my grandson was on my lap the this morning admiring your piglets and wanted to know if we were going to get one. My husband didn't stutter when he said "No."

They are cute. The two pigs I bought at the auction in Jones a few weeks ago are scheduled to go to freezer camp at the end of this month. Yeah!

Good morning all....hope everyone has a great Friday....I'm heading to camp this weekend and one of my stepsons is getting to come with us!! I'm so excited about that. Still at work today, but hoping to see the patients I need to see and then get off work early so we aren't setting up a tent in the dark.

I sure hope Monty is ok....

Stimpy....you are a hoot...but sorry to tell you that those feet in the hail pictures were of one of my 11 year old daughters feet ...she was running around barefoot collecting the hail.

Day 20 today.....no pipping or movement yet....those two chickens better hatch or I'm going to cry!!! The other 4 I'm sure won't do anything so I'm not expecting anything.

Stimpy : I heard there was some tough weather near purcell, isn't that in your AO or pretty close??.

Lost some shingles it looks like, and I found the escape pool cover again. I had a terrible time yesterday with trying to get a new job site set-up in this wind, it was pretty hard to drive loaded up high profile trucks & trailers, gott er done though.

Hi all my very best good friends,
I haven't read all of the posts from last night and this morning.
I really appreciate everyone's concern and prayers. I am not sure how close the fires got, but within two miles or so and with as fast as they were moving, that was too close.
We know of at least one friend that lost their home and several more that were evacuated.
I want to thank TIna (luvs) for calling and checking on me.
When she called we had several people here so it was loud and at first I didn't know who was calling.
Two kids of a friend were home alone and had to be evacuated and my daughters boy friend picked them and brought them here.
So we had people coming and going.
We lost power several times but only for a few minutes each time.
I kept going out to hose down the house and property plus I enjoyed being away from the house noise,
Thanks again for all the prayers.
I hope everyone else is ok. I know there were a lot more fires than just Choctaw and Midwest City plus the storms.
Everyone check in and let folks here know you are OK.
I will catch up on the posts and will probably have more to say. You think?
